All the flaws you mentioned has to do with his work rate.
Which happened later, but by then he had already reached GOD status by then so the people gave him a pass.

Yeah, CL is an issue. It's a dent in his legacy to win 2/4 during Pep, and 1/8 after him. It's a huge difference and it shows the major influence that Pep had over getting the best out of Messi in CL.

Then again Pep went to a dominant Bayern, and to City with an unlimited fund and has only won one CL trophy himself. One where Inter arguably should have won outplaying his team.
