totally agree, Luiz would be a disaster, Hummels has dropped a level compared to a couple of years ago, this guy Mangala is exactly what we need, so therefore there's no chance we'll go for him..

I believe not, other than the usual 'flattered by interest, but focussed on Porto' IIRC. I am getting more pessimistic by the day and see another failed transfer window come up...

I really wouldn't give a rat's ass. ter Stegen is already in (only official announcement due), we absolutely need a CB this summer. Then get the absolute best if you want to stay at a high level. City, PSG, Bayern, Chelsea, Real and so on all spend much more on players than we do. If you want to keep up with the arms race, make sure La Masia is working properly. And if you still miss something then, like a CB at this point in time, just splash the cash.

I believe he had a 35M or 40M buyout clause, considering we pay 10M for a young kid (Halilovic) and upwards of 80M for Neymar, I'd say do it. No excuses.

Decent pace, tall (a beast in aerial duels), strong, decent on the ball, young and a top, top prospect and one of the best CB prospect out there. Is sometimes too rash coming into tackles though. However he is way too costly.

Think he will be sold in the range of €35-45m.
