Actually think it can be the most exciting in decades - shame it's managed by the most boring and dullest though.
Lots of up and coming exciting players. Lallana, Sterling, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Barkley, Walcott, Sturridge, Wilshere, Henderson. Defensively there is Shaw, Gibbs, Caulker, Clyne.
Then the underneath those you have players who are one or two rungs below that but have the talent to reach those levels. I'm thinking about the likes of Callum Chambers, Ravel Morrison, Ward-Prowse, Butland, Chalobah, Hughes, Zaha, Lascelles, Ince, Mutch, Townsend, Tom Carroll, Berahino, Redmond, Shelvey and Byram.
Together with the mainstays (after the world cup) of Hart, Cahill, Baines and Rooney that is an exciting crop of players I think.
But it means nothing when there is an incompetent manager.
England need someone like Rodgers who can work with that group and improve them and create an identity and a system to play.
