I would argue Mbappe does better than Haaland when there is little space to exploit. Mbappe can dribble and is more explosive in my opinion, also he doesn?t rely on service from other players as much as Haaland. Unless of course if we want to have more crosses and rely on headers and hard duels inside the penalty box to score, in that case Haaland will probably be a better choice.
Haaland not relying on space as much as Mbappe is probably just about him being more of a box player, getting on the end of something, a cross, a loose ball.
If you give both the ball to try and create something against a parked bus, i doubt Haaland would do any better, though.
Haaland is not bad from long range though, perhaps better than Mbappe there(?), a long shot can break down a bus, but you need the space to shoot first.
