City will fall apart anyway. Pep will be gone soon and the players we're carrying are ageing (Gundogan, De Bruyne, etc.) Blondie won't shine without magicians around him.
He probably got a huge salary for accepting such a long contract which will help City with FFP like Chelsea did with all those long contracts. He will have a release clause in 2029 if he wants to try a different league but don't think there will be many top club suitors for him as he won't age well. I'm just glad now Laporta can't go all in on him in 2026.
If he doesn't have an interest to play in Spain, I understand this move. He'll sign his retirement contract with 24 already.
City isn't any less real of a club then Chelsea or Corner FC.Looks like he's not that ambitious to play for a real club but everyone has their preference.
Someone's dream is playing for fake/state sponsored club, in Manchester.

Not sure how the club is fake when his father played there too.
Well by your definition only Barca, RM, Real, Osauna, and Bilbao are real clubs and some from the Bundesliga.Don't care about Chelsea either. Your argument is moot.
I did forget his father was in City so fair to him there.
