It is not even about the results. The results overall this season haven't been that bad. It is the way we played, the fashion in which he approached the games that made me so desperate. I could count games that I felt that we played really well this season with one hand, not more. He delivered the wins but man most of them were so unconvincing, uninspired and meh. Results matter a lot of course to any team but this is not how Barca should play, this is not how we should approach the games. He turned us into an ugly thing I could not recognize.

Above all, the pain of not seeing any hope as long as he is here is suffocating me. This hurts so much.

If we do win and I hope we will he’ll for sure gain some credit but let’s be honest here. Does anyone enjoy the way we play? Anyone? Some will say it doesn matter since only trophies count. Well I partially agree but if we continue playing like we did in some recent games I am willing to bet we won’t win anything. We are not ATM or Chelsea and we are trying to play like that in some games.

He can get blame for defeats and he also deserves the credit for overall Barca being top of league by 5 points with a squad seen as being in dissaray by a lot of people when season started.

What? Valverde's been praised a lot around here, by me repeatedly as well. Now it's time for the forks to come out too, in the light of his recent dumbfounding decisions (cause there can be no doubt, they're shocking in their lack of logic and inspiration).

Without Neymar and with no reinforcements EV is doing a very good job.

Barca are one of the top scorers in europe with some of the best possession stats.

There is a difference in being patient at times to being defensive.

First of all he finally has a RB, secondly he has two 300 mil players on the bench and he is playing Vidal and Paulinho and third his opponents were playing like shit in the first half of the season.

Of course he can but to use recent poorer performances to then make out Barca have been lucky due to Real imploding etc is wrong. Valverde has done a good job overall.

He is expected to win when the only comparable team in terms of value is not up to par, yes, it's only logical.

Doesn't mean he shouldn't get credit, just that his job is easier when Madrid are shit. Overall we're kind of where we were last season in terms of points, it's just that Madrid are way worse.

As I said before, we can't say our final saying as of yet since everything is possible. Our season has not been decided yet, but that does not mean we should not criticize him. I personally praised him earlier a few months ago and now I am criticizing him.

Of course. I just want him to be more proactive and set up the team to win and dominate rather than play it safe with certain selections. He also need to come through right now with Atletico chasing us. If we collapse now due to his stubborn decisions it's on him and would be a huge failure given the position we've been in.
