We most definitely wouldnt be in this good position in the league had Real and Atletico not been so shit when the season started. Also many of us pointed out how shit the team was playing and how we were having trouble playingwise. We were never as good as the numbers indicate. The only difference between now and then is that we somehow always managed to get the results. We managed to grind our way to the 3 points which made reality look better than it was. Now when we dont manage to tilt the results in our favor, our shit manager is finally getting exposed. We were incredibly lucky in the beginning of the season, we were incredibly lucky vs Sevilla and Chelsea and hell we were also lucky in the clasico where Real couldnt score their chances even if their life depended on it.
Valverde is a fucking fraud. He goes to Rome and sets his team up as if he was fucking Mourinho. I'd somehow get it if we were up against Bayern or Real but this is fucking Roma. You dont go and play conservative Mourinho style against Roma. In the end he got fucked and Roma deserved to go through. He is shit and should get sacked asap so he doesnt get to win the la liga trophy.

The problems I have with those scenarios:
1. We sack Valverde now
-Is there a coach with suitable experience availible?
-Will our other competitions be affected?
2. We keep Valverde until the end of the season
-Do our players trust him anymore?
-It's WC year. The new coach will miss most of the team in the pre-season.

Allegri is a world class manager and would work out well, with Allegri this embarassment would never have happened.
Barca is one of the best team in the world and every manager would like to coach us to win trophies.
The problem Barca face is their culture is so all encompassing that a manager can’t come in and think he has enough control to implement what he wants

Horror show from EV but the players need to man the fuck up as well and show more fight than that. If they downed tools due to EV calamity then it is even worse.

I missed the match, only woke up now because of calls from friends that barca lost. I am sorry everyone but I am going to become the "I told you so" guy. Don't even need to watch the match to claim I and a bunch of users who were "SPOILT" were right all along. Maybe now some here would ACTUALLY realize that we were shit against chelsea sevilla and roma first leg and it was luck all along that carried us through. Read my sig again. Results can be misleading. Maybe now everyone has woken up and realized that even our league form isn't any good and that too is masked by that unbeaten tag.

Every time we have achieved great things in our history, it as been when we have stay true to our philosophy or very close to it.
We are not Madrid, Chelsea, juve whoever who wins in various ways the results are all that matter, whenever we do that it rarely works out, I have been steadfast to this from day 1.
Get a damn coach & board that believes in the barca way if doing thing, and no this doesn't means playing xi masia kids or becoming arsenal, as the results orientated Barca fans always true to come up with, it's about believing in our way of playing football.

When you go to places like Juventus and Roma and play not to lose then you run less.
I asked on another board after the Eibar game and I think I posted something similar here too...
I asked: “How long before the players get tired of Valverde’s tactics and stop playing for him?”
I expected it to happen next season though and not in the middle of a Champions League game.
I think him going in with the same team and tactics that have proven to be mediocre recently is the straw that broke the camels back.
