Haha you have no idea when I started following this club.
And I value the quality of football and the future of Barça much more than just the number of trophies won for a single season.

Good for you. No matter how you try to spin it, a domestic double isn't a ruined season.

Are there any realistic replacements? A WC manager is not likely. I cant think of anyone realistic who would be a big improvement.

A Marcelo Bielsa desiple like Quique Setien would improve this Barca considerably. Roberto Martinez is another name I can suggest who can be available.

Boohoo, stupid CdR.

Lets just ignore the league, huh?

At this point UCL>>>>>La Liga>>>>(CDR, Gamper, Super cup and all other useless trophies you can think of)

Yah. Real is currently on the top of the world thanks to CL alone, while Barca meh in public eyes. If you don't care about legacy, suit yourself. I disagree still that last season was a disaster like some like to say, but CL is objectively the most important trophy to cement a team into history. This "muh la liga is teh moar important" shit is just EPL dorks saying how winning it is more prestigious, because of sour grapes syndrome.

Of course ChL should be the priority by now, but a domestic double can never be a ruined season no matter how people try to spin it, and I would never accept folding the league title.

I didn't get the part about the so-called EPL dorks and La Liga.

I think that La Liga teams parking the bus against us and not attacking us is a main culprit for our lack of hustle. It's too easy to set Messi magic in motion, when there's really no build up required for us. We've become so lethargic because in most games, we don't really have to hustle and pass it around quickly. Eventually, we know that the opposition will fall back and why not just wait until then to start thinking about creating chances? It's our comfort zone.

It has gotten to a point where, when teams actually do attack us, we look like we have no clue what's going on. Like somehow, we still just expecteveryone to move back and give us half the field to play on. We get slaughtered in the CL because we have very little training for those kind of games. 80% of the games we play require fundamentally different tactical setup, individual decision making, stamina etc.

When teams really press us, we don't believe in ourselves because we are out of our precious comfort zone. Everybody gets nervous. I'm really fucking afraid that that's going to happen against Madrid this season with Lopetegui.

I think we must draw a tough CL group stage, otherwise again we just won't be ready for a team that is faster than us and its another emberrassing CL exit coming. Pretty much nobody in la liga can give us a test like that.

i wouldn't mind drawing liverpool in the group stages, but there is a chance that we finish 2nd of our group. but then again that hasn't stop Real for the past 2 years so I go with Liverpool.
