Ernesto Valverde - V1

Pep lost to Lyon at home with City so it's hard to blame Valverde for struggling away to Leganes.

What the hell? Our only chance is that Valverde gets fired or we won’t have anything to fight for after October! And that will be pretty embarrassing after announcing we’ll go for a triplet by Messi during Gamper.

Mate, it's goddamn Leganes. You can question the quality of the team all you want but not against last place La Liga team.

A tremendously good team can lose even to 3rd division teams and still be in the league race. I.e. Madrid 2008 or 2010.

Not that it's the case here. Cancer is running from top-down. Can't fix it by sacking the manager.

Yes, Messi at false 9 is the solution.... as in the Pep dream team.

Valvedre out is the solution.

Even we have got the prime Suarez back. With these tactics, we will still play like shit under Valvedre.

Oh right, when our shot player cannot score. Let's bring in a tall CF to make a header.

How was that work out with ManU under Mou?

Everything is about coaching. It is the coach job to instruct player where to run, whene to move, when to pass, where to pass, when to switch position etc. Which I can see nonf of that in our team under Valvedre.

Yeah just like how much cancer was present when you guys appointed Rafa, only for that all to go away right after you sacked him.

smh.

I'm sure that someone like Klopp would bench Piqué and would tell Messi to start running instead of walking if he was there. The problem is that Barca only hire unproven managers only because they played in the past for the team and have that Barca DNA bullshit.

If Valverde gets sacked they will probably hire Unzué or someone like that.

Which tactics and XI do you suggest with our players ?

Serious about what? I'm not defending Valverde like most are claiming. He's Schuster. It's the first post I wrote in this thread after the game.

Barto is the true problem. You all know it.

I really hope Madrid getting dumped on by Sevilla doesn't affect the board's opinion on Valverde. This is our chance to get rid of him and recover while we can, while Barto will see this as no problem because we both lost.

Actually sad to see Madrid losing...

The funniest thing is that Valverde ruined everything that he built last season. The 4-4-2 (defending) / 4-3-3 (attacking) hybrid with Suarez as LWF was workung really well.

And now, this year he moved Messi right (false RW), Dembele left (where he is less creative, because of congestion of players - needs soace), plays Arthur in LCM (while he prefers RCM), plays Vermaelen at LB, benches Coutinho more than other players and so on...

This man doesn't know how to rotate. You can't play Vermaelen, after not being in the squad for 5 matches, in LB at 32 years old. You have 3 FB's and you can rotate them. Bob did fine at LB, because he had Umtiti behind him. But no, Ernie doesn't think.
