Renewed contract until 2020 with El Sadd and god only knows what is his next move, won't be surprised if he takes over their NT for the World Cup although they are probably aiming for a mor experienced coach
I doubt we will see him here before 2022 at the earliest, understand that he still enjoys playing the game but I think he should have retired this year if he wanted to became a coach

Hasn't he also said he wants to coach Juvenil A/Barca B before even considering the first team? I'd say he won't be here until even longer than that.

Glad he said that as the whole team looked too relaxed after Messi misplaced his shot from a coutinho layoff in the first half. But why couldn't EV have said this after the 1st half ended? We were only up a goal by that time.

Now I can see shit.

When this thing happens in almost every goddamn game it's time to start questioning Walmart Mourinho's capability to motivate the players. If this would've been the exception yeah you can blame the players but when it's the default state of the team, you gotta start wondering if it's not the manager who is at fault. For me he is the main culprit and he needs to start packing his bags.

Ah, blame the players. You have a long history at this club of being terrible at being a leader of men or making anything resembling a logical decision but telling the players they are too relaxed because they're stuck playing your dogshit brand of football is the best way to get some results.

This is the exact same thing Lucho was doing in his last season (And at the end of the season prior) and he had to announce he was leaving in late November/Early December...

He said it and later he said something about he will come back only as 1st team coach

So, basically, he'll come back and do whatever is offered because he knows damn well he's a La Masia junkie but he also has ambition.

This can only go two ways.

1. The players will agree with him and really step up their performance and play with a higher intensity. Get their shit together. We will see a different team very soon.

or

2. They instead get annoyed by Valverde and blame him and his tactics for the struggles instead, and then this all goes full Benitez with some shitty results in our upcoming tough schedule.

I think this is just our way to prepare for a Champions League trophy: forget about a treble with an ageing squad. Instead, we stop working hard to win La Liga games because they are meaningless. Messi knows that working hard to beat La Liga teams is not earning him any FIFA points. All that counts is CL performances. As long as we are top 4 in Spain we are fine. That was Zidane's strategy last year and it worked.

But Valverde is no Zidane, and RM know how to win against busses while we struggle massively.

So forget about CL if we keep playing like this.

Our players like Valverde though.

His tenure here has been nothing like Lucho where there was always stories of players having conflicts with Lucho. Messi even voted for EV as best manager at the FIFA awards.

The only difference between EV and the likes of Benitez is that Barca players actually want to play for and respect EV whereas Real players had no interest in playing under Rafa. Both are terrible tacticians.
