BBZ8800 we want fast football with fast attacks, purposeful build up, midfield control and good defence
Crosses, through the middle, accurate long balls etc as long as it's fast and exciting

BBZ8800 When people talk about Pep’s football they see only possession but the truth is different. Why do you think we played like that during his time here? Because he was inteligent and he realized that THOSE players we had back than weren’t able to defend so he used high pressing and controling football as a tool to prevent our opponents to put pressure on our defense. He is not playing like that anymore and we for sure aren't abble to play like that with this squad. You have to adapt way of playing to the players you have and not the other way around. Klopp for sure wouldn't play the same type of football here and with Lpool, he would adapt like Pep did with City. Valverde is doing quite the opposite he is using majority of players in the way their weaknesses get exposed and their strenghts remain hidden in his flawed system.

why the fuck would you leave messi out of a game when he won't play internationals?! clearly the players aren't there mentally. it's only going to get tougher from here on.

should be sacked for having no ideas. valverde is not a top tier manager. and i'm sick of barcelona having to carry mediocre cunt managers through messi's prime years.

Real Madrid have dropped 7 points in their last three games.

We aren't 7 points clear of them because we couldn't beat Girona, Leganes and Bilbao at home.

Shambles.

If the board wants to save itself it better sack Valverde sooner rather than later.

Hings are not going to improve under this fraud of a manager.

Someone mentioned Conte and Heynkes. They would be massive upgrades over this fraud.

Heynkes came out of retirement before. We just need someone to see out the season.

I'm not sure what the options are out there. I doubt Heynckes would come out of retirement just for us. He has no ties to us.

Conte would be an interesting choice but a lot of interviews suggested his Chelsea tenure made him very tired and he will need a bit of a break.

Really, who's out there to choose who can match Barca's class? I say Barca goes back to its roots and hires someone who has lots of history with the club: Unzue, Abelardo, Eusebio?

That's the reason we're in this predicament. Unzue, Abelardo and Eusebio should not be anywhere close to the Barcelona job. We need a commanding presence and someone that's good tactically.

I would rather roll the dice with someone like Henry or look to buy-out a top class manager. Going for the safe option is the reason this club is stalling behind.

If Laporta, Txiki had gone for the safe option during their tenures we would not have hired Rijkaard and never hired Pep.

Roberto Martinez?

Honestly never been impressed with him despite Belgium's WC performance, and I watched Everton when he was there to follow Deulofeu, same season Coleman caught my eyes. Thought the guy could play for a better team, but then started getting injured and seemingly never recovered from his leg break.

He's not a bad manager, but wouldn't be on my first choice list for the job.

hell fucking yeah. I'm assuming IF EV is to be sacked it'll be after royally fucking up our season (could be this coming month) and Henry would be worth the risk til the end of the season as a stop-gap. the players respect him, the fans love him but Barto will probably take the safe option and go with Unzue

Wow ... breaking news ... things are gonna get interesting and real fast !!

Suarez has apparently broke ranks !!

Copied direct from Twitter

Suárez: "Valverde remains passive... We now have a very tough game in the Champions League and it could go any way. I always say responsibility leans more to the players' side... but Valverde needs to start doing more."
