Would have taken a misleading treble and everyone thinking EV was a god, than us losing deservedly and everyone seeing the light, but man it's still good to see everyone unanimously in reality for once.

Those people who want Mourinho were the same people who thought Valverde is the second coming of Christ. They lost credibility in this forum and their opinion shouldn't be taken seriously.

Regarding [MENTION=16942]BBZ8800[/MENTION] comment "fans are spoiled today". I think he suffers from Stockholm Syndrom, he definitely dwells in the past and repeats the same storyline of Nunez and Gaspart era, unconsciously fear it but does nothing to move his thinking forward. His thoughts are more invested in those dreadful eras than enjoy any present-day Barcelona's strength and greatness.

He preferred to win the treble but still sees a silver lining that at least now cracks won't be papered over.

The only good thing about bringing Mourinho in is that he would be strong enough to get rid of the junk in the team, which is what we really need.
BUT, if we do hire him we would need to be ready for things to go bad in the 3rd season though
Mourinho will bench players like Arthur, Alena, and FDJ! He is a big fan of Rakitic and thinks he is the best midfielder in the world. He won't get rid of the seniors, he will empower them even more!

Meh. The strength to sell players who aren t up to the task anymore should come from the managment. Sporting director/director of football.
The coach is there to manage the rest of them. If there is trouble with how players react to his coaching, the management should step in again.
Coach shouldn t be a friend, he should be able to say fuck off to any player who doesn t respect a chain of command. That s why he is the first in line of people who are responsible for results.
