Let's be honest. The only untouchable player is Messi. Everybody else that plays while on poor form does so because the manager is a clown, not because the board is putting pressure on the manager to play them. That would be crazy and if things were that fucked up, it sure would've transpired in the press by now.

Many Barca and Madrid managers have made bold moves in their squad management. Others didn't, and bowed down to veterans. It says more about the respective managers than Bartomeu and Florentino.

As far as i remember lucho lost very much soon the support because the way he acted towards the core players and the only reason why he was able to keep his job was because he won very much everything in his first season. As soon as he didnt win trophies he lost the support of the board also. I am pretty sure he left because of messi alba and co.

Lets imagine klopp or pep here now. I am pretty sure pep would bench suarez and try to sell him as soon as possible. That would make messi very unhappy. Messi has a contract where he can leave whenever he wants. How long would pep survive here if messi is giving the board an ultimatum? Me or pep?

Some here understimate the power of our core players over our board. It is true that some lost their influence because they declined but messi is still in charge and with his new contract even more.

Why is valverde still here even he sucks? Is it just the support of the board? We all know that this shit team is behind valverde. They are all happy with him. why shouldnt they? Rakitic for example had the best time of his life. He was the most used player in the recent seasons even being one of the worst.

This board is ruled by our players not the other way. What valverde did in cl is next to impossible and he is still here and that only because barto is ruled by messi and co.
