15-16: So weak but luck that other teams were too stupid. They even lost to Wolfsburg 2-0 and wouldnt have won the tie if not Ronaldo scored hattrick in second leg.

16-17 CL: Ok that Real Madrid was really really strong but more because of individual brilliance than Zidanes tactic. Modric and Kroos were the best Midfield duo at the world, Marcelo played his best season ever and Ronaldo scored braces and hattricks in CL like crazy. But i dont want to deny that Zidane has also played a big role here.
17-18: Well this season as a disaster again beside the CL. Allegri outcoached Zidane in second leg of quarter final. Bayern was way better than Real in semi final. Liverpool dominated in final but due to Karius mistakes Real won.

LMAO at messi15428 and his underhand pro Ronaldo propaganda. Trying to downplay Zidanes influence to make it seem like it was all Ronaldo. I can't remember one last minute Ronaldo goal , the late heroics was almost entirely Ramos. Why don't you tell us how Ronaldo conquered Liga Nos again with his 3 goals in 25 games.
Was watching some goal round ups from la liga 16-17 a few days ago and can say without a doubt that every other week Madrid were getting away with offside goal after offside goal. By far the biggest reason for their slide has been tge introduction of VAR.

Of course it was not done all by Ronaldo but ImO Zidane gets too much credit for these Cls when you see that he had the best midfield players and crazy Ronaldo at that time.
If only you have balls .. Roberto should remain as a RB backup; Raki, Rafinha and Vidal should be sold; Alena should be loaned; and your starting midfield should be De Jong Arthur and Coutinho with Busquets and Puig as subs .. Roberto can move back to midfield if you need a 3rd back up .. as for attack you have Dembele and Malcom as back up and Coutinho if needed be. You are set.

Why Vidal, he was the only midfield player beside Arthur who played good. Would rather sell Busquets than Vidal as Busquets is so fucking slow.
Opportunity cost thats it. Busquets can teach the youngsters, Puig FDJ and Arthur as well as he is tactically good for the Barca system. Vidal is good but we have too many midfielders which can hinder the growth of our future team leaders and thus I think his time is over unless he doesn’t mind being a back up with little minutes to play

Vidal doesn't fit. I was hoping we would have off-loaded him this summer.
Other than being a hard worker I don't see Roberto filling in for Vidal's strengths.
Vidal offers an option both from starting and from the bench, some games are very suitable for him and some games are not.
We are much more dynamic as a team with Vidal in the squad.
