Still would be surprised if he is let go immediately. Don't think Xavi will agree to take the team over midseason.

EV will likely finish out the season and be replaced in the summer.

That is ok. But if he stays for next season too, not even Messi's last years will keep me committed to watching this team.

Pseudo philosophy? 😂. We actually had a philosophy until your hero Shitverde came and destroyed it. I agree that now is not the time for Xavi but the Barça philosophy has produced great players and great football. Your club should know. They've bared the brunt of it.

*heave*

Also Valverde was not the one to kill it. Rosell and Bartomeu were. One favour they ever did to the world...

Being older doesn't mean much, he has no experience. Really it just shows you how old the team is if many of them have played with a man who is now 39. He's a garbage choice in comparison, he'll have vested interests and has probably only been brought up in conversation, because Abidal doesn't like the idea of Koeman.

The circus would be complete if Xavi came back though. The club purely back to its roots with vacuous moaning and endless pseudophilosophy in the pressers.

Let's see

Stegen 27 vs Curtois 27
Roberto 27 vs Carvajal 28
Pique 32 vs Ramos 33
Lenglet 24 vs Varane 26
Alba 30 vs Marcelo 31

Busquets 31 vs Casemiro 27
De Jong 22 vs Valverde 21
Arthur 23 vs Kroos 30

Griezmann 28 vs Isco 27
Messi 32 vs Benzema 32
Suarez 32 vs Bale 30

Barca first 11 average age: 28 years
Real Madrid first 11 average age: 28,3 years.

Wolfe talking out of his arse again. Our first 11 is slightly younger than your first 11. Now of course you'll praise your signings to high heavens (like Ceballos being this ultra talent, or Vinicius being the next Neymar lol - when he's a Robinho-lite who can't shoot to save his life, or Jovic being so great he will replace Benzema, or Asensio being the next Messi or whatever, all rubbish), and will say our signings like Semedo, or Firpo, or the new kid Ansu Fati, or Dembele are crap. So boringly predictable.

Meanwhile that pseudophilosophy gave birth to possibly the greatest team ever, and one that dominated every team they faced. Which has never happened until then or since then, in the 25 years I've been watching football.

I'm also amazed by the experience Zidane had before Real Madrid. Legit manager. Did he even train a 1st division side before getting the Madrid job? Such double standards is really disappointing from anyone, let alone a credible user.

Both teams are probably over the hill.

Real looking better for the future because better prospect pool.

Except he's inflating their young players by a mile and a half and downgrading ours. Both teams have some good old players, some washed up old players, some talents who have confirmed, some young players who haven't confirmed and look like flops, and some very young players who look very talented but aren't ready yet.

Miguel Rico one of the most reliable Barca Journalists, says Barca offered Xavi the spot for Next week assuming he says yes.

now he really needs to go, he was already a puppet before, imagine now that he has been delegitimized even by the board if these rumors are true.
