Of course Messi loved him.

Only two Messi titles in his last 5 seasons were under EV.

About only way to coach that Barca side was to get amigos onside and squeeze what could from them despite some clear flaws as a whole.

I just don't rate him as an elite coach like the EV stans.

Above average, scraping good at times at best. Just because Setien, Koeman, and Xavi are worse doesn't automatically elevate EV

Held the lead in la liga for about 2,5 seasons straight.

Not that i mind, firing EV and hiring Betis-man, gave us the league title.
