The whole "It's coming home" stuff is just absolutely cringe worthy, and that's coming from an Englishman. Used to like it when it was a song that was played during the excitement of a national tournament, instead of the arrogant slogan it has become.

Aye you got it totally wrong and teams that play your ideal football in Germany, France and Portugal were all out more or less 24 hrs after declared them favs for that reason.

Wrong as usual.

Spain not winning it is not some kind of win for you... Spain went out in semi finals on a penalty shoot out. A team you mock yet vastly outperformed your multiple teams chosen.

Can answer you without even reading the same shite essays as always produce to show nothing but ignorance.

Lots of words to come out with same shite year after year.

Denmark feel like the 2018 Croatia of this tourney. Even if they beat England I have a feeling Italy will take care of them comfortably.

You won a coinflip. Congrats dawg.

If you meant of Spain losing, they won a lot of coinflips.
1 win out of 3 HOME games vs shitty opponents in a group.
Extra time vs Croatia with 1 goal with Rebic changing boots, the 3rd goal when the whole Croatian team were drinking water.
Against Swiss, they won on penalties due to a stat that no team even has won 2 penalties on one Euros (and Swiss loss since they won against France).
And Spain paid the same price tonight against Italy.

When you sum it all: 3 HOME matches, 1 win in 6 matches over 90 minutes, 1 extra time, 2 penalty shootouts.
In which universe was that a a result-efficient football?
It was highly possession wise efficient, though, I agree, but that was expected from Spain.
And their defeat was more than expected, equally.

Its supposed to be a world cup-slogan anyway, not for the Euros.

As Kasper Schmeichel put it : Has it ever been home?

Spain played well in tournament and played a style that got them to within penalty shout of final in a game they dominated.

This tournament vindicated the approach by Lucho.

When Italian defenders like Bonnucci are saying Spain gave him 'hardest game of career' lets listen to those that think Spain were average/poor and some kind of choir boy team instead..

You are on full copium mode mate . You always talk of tiki-taka as of a style that is sterile and does does not generate any chances once the opponent figures it out, without a plan B. However, Spain dominated this tournament in chance creation and no opponent knew how to stop them from doing it. It was not sterile at all, not in a million years. It was quality possession-based attacking football. The absence of a top striker and left/right winger is what cost them. So just admit you do not like the style aesthetically instead of trying to rationalize your hard-on for 4-4-2.

Spain played better:
Just looking at big chances, we have 2 big chances vs 1 of Italy, not considering the 2 huge ones not recorded because Oyarzabal failed to make contact.

But from the perspective of the whole trajectory and tournament thus far Italy still deserves it more than Spain.
Spain had 3 good games (Slovenia, Croatia, and semi-final vs Italy).
Italy had 5 good games, and only a bad one tonigh.

Italy-England sounds a tasty final.

Anyways

Let's hope Denmark save us all

Nice. Engurlands are so obsessed. I get it. They are actually shit in international football, so for them, a semifinal at a big tournament it's a big deal. But my God they are pathetic with their ''coming home'' shite at every tournament.

I dont understand how they came up with "coming home" for the Euros, considering the world cup had actually been "home" once, Euros has never been "home" in the first place, so it makes no sense singing about it "coming home".
