The reason England lose is they're too wedded to the idea they have to play a dull and defensive way and are unwilling to change their footballing culture.

Their squad is more than capable of playing attacking and dominant football yet they continue to choose boring managers who grind out results.

I don't think Spain's team is better or even close to being better and they totally outclassed them today simply because they play their style of football and happily took control of the game when England allowed it. The difference is tactical and generally cultural.

Whenever anyone criticises this, people say 'England has never been good' and so and so.
What you're missing is that the English players aren't as technically gifted as the Spanish ones, despite their hype.

You're falling into their hype again. For instance, Zubimendi came on and instantly looked far better technically and when pressed than Rice. Who's the far more famous player though?

Mainoo is the messiah - yet he, Rice and Bellend were pissed on by a far less heralded player in Ruiz.

Bold is simply bollocks for me. Spain have better players.

They need to focus more on players like scholars and mainoo, less on players like Lampard and Bellingham.

They need to learn control.

Bar the Marc press that opened up the Spanish defense for their goal, Spain controlled the entire game, because their midfielders are superior at doing the job of a midfielder.

And a better manager, yes

They really don't imo.

Players like Le Normand and Cucurella would struggle to make the bench of top teams.

Morata is proven B level striker, Yamal is 17 (very good of course but so young), Nico Williams is a good player but also very young and unproven, etc.

The only place you could claim an advantage for Spain is midfield but in terms of on paper England is surely better.

Why. Because you said so? Why is Le Normand worse than Guehi or Maguire (who always starts for England when fit).

Seeing as you mention Cucurella, England's left-back is that fraud Shaw who has been omnipresent for Man United's decade of failure, and had one good season in 8. You're looking down on the Spanish players and not seeing the same issues in the English.

Morata is a far bigger tactical advantage for Spain, while Kane is a major tactical disadvantage for England.

Frankly, I think you're buying hype. Spain pissed all over them and that's not just because they have a better system. I have been proved right with their vast superiority.
