European Super League

But EPL has let's say 500m deal while La Liga has 100m.

If you spread it evenly, EPL teams will grow more because they will buy better players than average La Liga teams.

And better players due to more money for EPL will bring them better results in Europe (meaning more money earned) plus better sponsor money, more viewers and new, better Tv deals.

Basically, what happened between Psg/Juve/Bayern vs the rest of French/Italian/German teams would happen in EPL vs other leagues.

A vicious cycle, the gap would only grow larger.
Money attracts new money.

That is already happening. And its not just the top 6 there that poach from poor Spanish club, but all 20 clubs do it because they have their fair share from the TV pot.

Taking away 40/50m from Barca and Real to give other teams 4/5m more a season only serves to weaken the teams the tv contracts are based on and not boosting any other teams to any great extent. In fact it could weaken those other teams when tv contracts shrink due to poorer Barca/Real sides.

Or it would actually grow because people will see a competetive league and not just 3/4 clubs and 16 statists.

No it wouldnt as the extra 4/5m a season to teams wont make it more competitive and reduces quality of Real/Barca.

Viewers wont tune in to La Liga because Barca/Real are poorer but Levante are slightly closer in quality to them.

Again German league is most uncompetitive going. La Liga is doing fine on that front.

Fantasy land if thinking other clubs suddenly start competing for league.

A different question to ponder:

Even with some sort of spending limits in place, if the 12 ESL clubs receive a ton of money up front and double the money they receive from the CL each year like they promised, what would that potentially do to the transfer market? Certainly not all 12 ESL clubs instantly grow their purchasing power right away (in our case we probably will use a good portion of the ESL money to pay down our debt and revamp Camp Nou), but many clubs are probably going to be able to increase their purchasing power as a result. Would that further inflate the transfer market? Would that price those non-ESL clubs out of the biggest transfer targets?

You fail mention the millions Real and Barca get of consistently being in the knock-out rounds of the CL. So pretty much nothing changes except that Barca and Real get financially weaker compared to the to EPL teams

Top players will increase worth, like Haaland and Mbappe to 300m.

But NBA style salary cap could be a good thing.

5m is a starting player for almost every club you spoke about there.

And again the PL isnt.

Exactly the point.. 5m player will make next to no difference and weakening Barca/Real could mean those teams dont get that in long run anyway as tv contracts reduce.

Again EPL is woeful comparison in completely different situation and if La Liga was in same situation more collective agreement would be better for league.

Bundesliga is closer to the type of contracts La Liga would get just less and it proves most uncompetitve league going.
