Club reportedly rejected record transfer fee from Arsenal for Keira Walsh. She'll probably return to England next year when her contract expires.
I saw that, I’m happy she stays - a terrific & important holding mid for us. But yes, her time is probably coming to a close

According to MD club is also in negotiations with Vicky Lopez. Her contract is expiring next year and is surely amongst priorities alongside Ingrid Engen and Irene Paredes.

Other players on expiring contracts are Keira Walsh, Marta Torrejón, Gemma Font, Jana Fernández and Martina Fernández,

Walsh will almost certainly return home for familiar reasons but hopefully club can convince her to stay. Don't think there should be problems to renew Marta if the club will want to keep her but they'll probably wait until later in the season to also know what her intentions are. At her age it's possible she'll want a new challenge or go somewhere to play more.

Gemma will be a 3rd GK when Roebuck is ready to play and at almost 25 is possible she'll look for a new club. Martina quite established herself last season while Jana again struggled with injuries. We'll see how this season will go but think club would like to keep them both and then maybe loan one of them to get more playing time. Probably won't get much minutes here behind Mapi, Irene and Ingrid.

10-1 vs Granada today, first time we scored 10 at Johan. Hattrick for Pajor and double for Alexia. Best goal still goes to Granada though tbf.

Also, City, St.Polten and Hammarby are our opponents in UWCL.

It's a good example of how the score line can flatter to deceive, for long stretches of this match Femeni looked very ponderous and predictable - it was all down to individual moments of brilliance, Caro in particular

Aitana's goal was a thing of beauty and was all her

It's early of course but Romeu leaves me concerned for how they perform against better opposition in CL - they won't be able to pull off the majority of goals last night for example

Group C looks like the group of death

Yeah, not too convinced with Romeu so far but as you've said it's very early.

BTW, last group stage game against City will be played at Montjuic on December 18.
