Barcelona is not what it was pre Bartomeu marketwise.
Not as much shirt sales, not as many ticket sales, not competative in CL or even domestic cups/league and the club doesnt attract the biggest players.
Cant demand massive figures anymore.

There is no indication that jersey sales have plummeted a lot after Messi left, at least I haven't seen such data (if any of you have it, please share it). Currently not being competitive enough for titles doesn't mean the brand power is much less. Manchester United has been that competitive for years and their sponsorships always brought in top money.

Let's hope we don't sell out the whole club for the price of what others are getting for just being a main shirt sponsor.

We may decide to take a little less for the additional mileage of associating with Spotify.

Just ask Joe Rogan ...

Barcelona had announced months ago that they lost ?487M last season. Tebas did not believe it, and appointed a company to make a second audit. According to that audit, Bar?a's losses for the 20-21 season were less than half of what the club claimed.

The company Tebas hired to conduct the financial audit is also one in which he holds financial interests. In other words, there?s conflict of interest thus making the audit a subjective opinion at best.

A 3-year deal for 280m (93m a year) from Spotify is done, according to RAC1. It includes the men’s and women’s game jerseys and the training kits, plus title rights for Camp Nou.

So basically we are charging them only around 15m a year for the title rights, based on the calculation of current deals. Not great but I suppose we will make to live with it.

Also, if that means we are freeing up the sleeves, we should find a separate sponsor just for the sleeves. Would not be more than 10m since the training kits are gone, but we need the money.
