He's not that bloody exciting.

He is 17 and has scored two very important goals in the premiership which gave us a huge hand in winning the league! He is on tour with our first team and is our joint top scorer along with Rooney and Owen who are internationals and have been for years! He will be a top quality striker one day

Macheda is good but definately needs to improve his game. He could be amazing but we probably won't find out this season. He's only 17 so he'll probably only play Carling Cup/ bad injuries give a couple of starts.

Ohh don't get me wrong i don't think he will be a starter this season or whatever but he has all the ingredients to be one of the best strikers in the world he is ta;ll has a decent build great finisher is quick and is willing to put in a decent shift!Wellbeck is the better player but Macheda is the better striker

That's interesting, the majority of Manc mates I have think Wellbeck is overrated shite compared to Macheda, but then again he didn't score 2 fairly crucial goals (afaik)

I think Macheda and Welbeck both have huge futures in the game and they could be a dream partnership as they complement each other well IMO as Welbeck would do the fancy stuff in and about the box while Macheda is an out and out finisher

I will love it when Macheda is scoring for fun in the premiership over the next few years then all you so called know it all fans who think they can call a 17 year old boy playing first team football at one of the biggest clubs in the world can eat humble pie.

Great prospect he has a huge future.

He has potential, no doubt, but I don't think that warrants ten pages of discussion on a Barça forum until the potential's realised. If he does realise the potential it's only a matter of time until he leaves you for a big club in Italy anyway.

Great future and he is not the only one there will be exiting times for United in the next say 5 years :) with him Welbeck, Matt James,Johnny Evans,Da Silva twins,Ravel Morrison,Ljacic with all huge futures ahead of them at United IMO and i can't wait for it :)

A lot can change in 5 or 6 years. The big three in the north of Italy will always be big clubs and they won't struggle financially forever. All I'm saying is that if you want loyalty from players, bring them through your youth system, don't look at others' youth systems to compensate for the inadequacies of your own.

Very true, good point.

Adam, I think you've become the unofficial Papa Smurf of the forum without realising it.
