Fernando Torres

And Man City isn't in CL next season so it leaves Chelsea, really. I'd love for them to buy Ibra which gives us the money and space to go for Torres. But all chemists know ideal gas doesn't exist

Would be more like Torres-Messi rather than Torres-Ibra... and this is the point, if Torres is an option they would get rid of Ibra

Yep. But that deal does really sound tempting for Liverpool, two young quality players and a experienced backup along with 70 million...that can be used to pay off the owners' debt

Not denying that it's a great deal, it is. LFC need something like that.

I'm just frustrated that it has to be Chelsea haha, not a fan at all

If this up coming transfer window is anywhere as interesting as last summers it would definitely have to include Torres going some where..

This is going to be crazy because LFC say they don't want to let him go but everyone seems to be going for him... who knows what will happen now

Everyone else know that LFC are in a much weaker position for obvious reasons and with Rafa's influence withering away, I think this summer is the best time to get Torres..

Chelsea are in for him right?

and he isn't as injury prone as you think, he only gets injured so much at Liverpool because they rely on him for everything in attack, if he moved clubs he would have alot more support and not be relied on as much to do everything on his own.

Yeah this was reaffirmed by Torres in his interviews, he didn't say outright it was due to him playing so many games but I think he hinted it, with no support apart from a few shitty strikers, Ngog, kuyt and we know Rafa doesn't trust these dudes unless Torres is out, over dependency is not good for any player it will ultimately lead to Injury, Rooney another high profile example.

I'd jizz in my pants if it was possible...

anyway I keep hearing that Man City dropped their bid and Chelsea is considering dropping due to his high price, so that may open up an opportunity for Barca. If not it looks like he might stay at LFC since no one else is being very vocal about offering anything for him

lol.
If City and Chelsea can't afford him I don't know how Barca will, maybe if Ibra is included in any deal with Liverpool, then Barca could wrap him up.

Yeah we would probably have to offer someone up for him. I can't see LFC wanting Ibra though. If he is mediocre in La Liga then he would probably die in EPL, lol

I guess we could sell him to somebody else and then take that money and offer it to LFC, but that would be a huge gamble there since LFC don't want to let him go easily.

I think he's got the strength for the Premier League, he will probably be the main man in the team, something he's not enjoyed in Barca.. I think Rafa's been quite a big part of Torres's emergence and possible departure lol after all if Rafa goes I think Torres would follow out too, I just don't see Torres staying another season, the same with Gerrard, no matter what they say.
