Starting to dare to dream about this one. Always thought that it was an unrealistic rumour but Rosell sure does seem to get him and with the present liverpool owners, well, anything can happen! The only thing that would concern me is the price tag.

torres suits a red color jersey to complement his freckles and blond hair.
barca jersey is more suited for the darker tone people

Yeah he looks better in red - Liverpool or Spanish NT kit - but... that's still hot.

Somebody should send that pic to Torres and his agent

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique would love Spain team-mate Fernando Torres to join him at the Catalan outfit, but admits a deal for the Liverpool striker seems unlikely.

Barca have already signed one Spain striker this summer following the capture of David Villa from Valencia.

"It's complicated. The operation for Fernando is a difficult one. I don't know to what extent there is interest or if it is press talk but if he came, they (Torres and Villa) would form an incredible partnership," Pique told Sport in an interview.

"They are very good players and when two good players play together, they are always compatible."

Pique has been impressed by Torres' goalscoring record for Liverpool.

"In the three years he has been there (in England), his statistics are excellent. He has scored loads of goals, played a lot for Liverpool and showed he has a great eye for goal," he said.

"But we can't forget about Zlatan (Ibrahimovic) and Bojan (Krkic) because they are great players up front and I don't know about the (reported) interest in the footballers we have (at Barca)."

Meanwhile, the central defender hopes Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas will join Barca sooner rather than later.

"I don't know when he'll come, but he will. I hope it's this year. The negotiations are under way, he will cost money but we hope it happens," he said.

If indeed Torres comes in,what would then the starting formation be,if there are no injuries with anyone? ...

Nice problem to have! Only thing that would concern me in this scenario is where it leaves Pedro and, to a lesser degree, Bojan. Im a big fan of the Barca model in bringing youngsters through and it would be a shame to see these two pushed down the list because of big money arrivals.

This is why I'm reluctant to say that I definitely want Torres here right now as much as I like him. It would be amazing to have him join the squad and the inevitable pairing with Villa has already been proven to work, but at what expense? I'm completely torn between one of my favorite players and what is truly best for Barca and the system we currently have.

I take a lot of notice though of what people (whether they are players, officials or coaches etc) inside the club say. The key point that comes from Pique's interview above is that it looks unlikely. To be honest, right now, i cannot see Torres arriving either. The price tag associated with the move, plus the fact we already have brought a top forward in this summer already, makes this move seem fanciful now.
