He's said that he plans on staying at Atletico, but the rumors and reports are very strong about Chelsea doing everything they can to bring him to London. He's a top 3 fullback in all of football right now, I'd put him as 1st. He's very fast, unbelievably great in defense, a big contributor in attack, and makes Atletico's left flank extremely stable.

If Chelsea really gets this guy for 24 million euros that is the biggest steal, ever. Arguably the best fullback last season. The second he came out injured vs RM in the champion's league the defense fell apart.

Edit: Just realized he's turning 29 in August; that changes things a bit. Thought he was 25-26, too bad.
