Because it'll happen regardless. Tito can't win, he's become the new scapegoat like Fabregas, Sanchez, Pedro, etc have all become in the past and even when he does something right he'll still get stick for it. Sadly that's mentality that Barcaforum has adopted.

I know Tito is the scapegoat of the forum but it is well earned. Honestly think about how far we would have gone if we lost just 1 player. If Messi got injured that was it. Messi bailed out Tito's incompetence all year. When his body finally gave out you saw how far we declined, 7-0 against "the great" Bayern. I'm not taking anything away from Bayern as they did their job and are champions of Europe. But we didn't even put up a fight.

Some others are talking about our decline last year and while we did start to fall off Pep still had the team playing to it's best ability. No team can win forever and you can't beat every team every time. We lost La Liga because RM played like a team possessed. Rather than using they're thug tactics they pressed us really hard in every match and won the last meeting of the year. Our team needed an injection of fresh blood as some players were fading out but despite that we still won 4 out of the 6 competitions we were involved in. Would Pep have let Pique, Dani, Villa, and Cesc go? What transfers would he have made? Who knows. My opinion is based on the fact that we played as a team and weren't reliant on 1 player, and while we did lose matches they never felt like failures.
Under Tito this isn't the case.

Vilanova: "We won't find another player like Abidal. The decision was very difficult. I hope he finds a good club and proves us wrong."

Vilanova: "Rumours about other coaches? I've already said I will continue next season. I can say it again, but I can't say it more clearly."

Vilanova: "Centre back? We hope Puyol recovers well. We also look to sign a player for that position." #fcblive

Vilanova: "Villa possibly leaving? I didn't yet talk with him. His record at the club is very good, the fans like him, I value him a lot."

Vilanova: "In principle, Abidal will play tomorrow. He has been training well today. We'll see how he trains tomorrow, but he should play."

Vilanova: "Thiago's buyout fee drops? Didn't know the clause, but that's good, we decide on sporting reasons. It's a player I value a lot."

Vilanova: "Messi will leave already today for Argentina. He doesn't yet have the medical green light, the doctors of ARG will decide."

Vilanova: "Neymar can play at different positions. He works in defense, gives a team confidence. I'm sure he'll adapt well." #fcblive

Vilanova: "I'd be delighted if Valdes could continue for another year. Wouldn't be any problem. That would be one problem less for me."

Yeah, he values them a lot, so much, that he lets them rot on the bench.
Draw your own conclusions about who stays and who goes. Prepare for the worst.

Sanchez is getting some praise recently when hes playing well. Read up the forum properly before drawing conclusions out of thin air. Tito, Fabregas and Pedro havent done anything to get any praise hence they are being lambasted.

Some quotes barcastuff didn't translate, from md:

And he sent a message to Johan Cruyff, who asked him to step aside. "The other day Mr. Cruyff was concerned about me and the club. Everyone knows that he always talks about from a disinterested perspective and impartial".

Tito added, however, that he has addressed his future with the club. "We've talked about it, logically. When you have a disease you must pass revisions. Sometimes I'll be absent. The club knows it. Same if they want to name another coach. I feel strong. Doctors have told me to keep going".

I'm not saying it's not, but it's gotten to the point where it's over the top.

I hear ya. I personally don't back him at all and don't have any confidence in his choices so that's where my frustrated posts come from.
I also can't credit Tito with much since we had virtually the same world class squad as last year and I think any coach could have imitated Pep's tactics and at least achieved some success. Just as we have, La Liga.

You guys aren't reading between the lines. "We look to SIGN A PLAYER FOR THAT POSITION". He didn't say we're getting a defender, CB or anything term that means defender. Knowing Tito it's going to be "a player" who can be converted lol

lol sorry I know I'm just troll'ing now :troll:

Same squad? Sure. But in same health and form? No, not even close. Key players from Pep's regime such as Puyol, Villa, Piqué, Abidal, Dani, Pedro and Xavi have all stagnated. Some naturally from age and health problems, and some from exceptional poor form. And before you yet again accuse Tito as the main villain for these occurrences, the aforementioned players clearly all started to stagnate during Pep's last year as coach.
Your last part about at least imitating Pep's tactics in order to achieve success; you do realize that we didn't win La Liga last year, right? Actually we weren't even close to winning it. This yeah, though, we're winning it, and this with a record breaking margin to the runners up.

I'm not a Tito fan at all, but some of you guys are going to such great lengths in order to bash the man, and you seem to refuse to acknowledge any good he may have done what so ever. It's pathetic really.

I realize I've been rather harsh here, but it's not a personal attack at all. These negative posts have been flooding the forums for a while, though, and frankly, I'm sick and tired of this pitchforks and torches mentality that seems to be in fashion on these forums nowadays.
