We won 6, 3 in the group stages and 1 each vs Stuttgart, Arsenal and Inter. And we dominated pretty much every game bar Inter first leg and parts of Stuttgart first leg.

And by dominate I don't mean sterile possession (we did that vs Inter too) but actually look threatening and look like scoring/showing intent

On the balance of play, yeah they did. They created more chances than us and hit the woodwork twice in the first game. They were definitely better than us in the second leg and should've scored much before Pastore put them in front. Whereas Barca took all their chances bar the one Sanchez messed up in the first game.

And I didnt said they deserved to go through, I said they deserved to go through same way Barca deserved to go through vs Chelsea. You can't argue for one but argue against the other.

Well I, for one, don't think the Barca-Chelsea and Barca-PSG semis were as similar as you say they were. Barca were incredibly unlucky to not advance against Chelsea. I mean, that was some supernatural shit. PSG were not that much unlucky, IMHO. The first leg shouldn't have been a draw in the first place, so if we're going to argue who deserved what, I think it'd be fair to say that PSG deserved to have that offside goal denied.

But I don't remember losing 7-0. Or 0-3 on Camp Nou. It's also the way those losses happened. Barça showed nothing, and Tito just watched. Claiming the team was tired, plagued with injuries... well, whose fault is that, if not the coach's? Started with bad signings, continued with bad rotationing, and culminated with horrible displays against top opositions.
How do we know if he had full control of the signings though...? I mean to me it doesn't seem like he had the authority to have the last word on things of that nature.

Not trying to downplay the 7-0 loss.. but last year Guardiola was sent out by Chelsea in CL.... and against Real it wasn't all that good either and it wasn't like people were happy he left... and Tito did good enough this year.

Yeah, the Barca-Chelsea was a more extreme version of Barca-PSG, but it was the same kind of concept, for lack of a better word. We could also say PSG got unlucky hitting the post twice. Valdes needed to play a blinder in both game, just like Cech. Besides the goals and Sanchez chance, Barca were restricted to potshots from distance in both games. Ultimately, Barca only scored as many goals as PSG, not more. Whereas Chelsea actually scored more than Barca.

Edit: Valdes came second in MOTM thread for both games against PSG, you know that's a rare sight here. I'm not asking you to take this rating seriously, only providing evidence because I've only been able to find shitty highlights of both games on youtube.

You're saying he's a puppet, then? He has to approve a signing, or not, being the coach. Unless he is just a puppet, and rosell is the one running the team. I don't doubt with some, like Neymar, that could happened. But and Song? He seems to have been a choice by Tito.

I remember reading that the reason Tito doesnt want Hummels is because he listened to the board on the Song signing even though he didnt want him and dont want to make another "sacrifice"

But then it was written in SPORT...

We did rotate, Im not posting the numbers again. We made two signings: Song and Alba, One was definitely great business. He isnt the Sporting Director He asked for a defender I posted that as well. The fact is if they sign Afellay and Pep says he has never watched him but he's 'told hes a good player', and they sell Chygrinsky even though he wanted to keep him, the Barca coach only gets so much of a voice.

The first leg they had to play Bartra in defense, Busi and Messi were playing injured and Bayern had two illegal goals. In the second leg Barca had Bartra in defense, no Messi or Busquets, went a goal down and then took off Xavi and Iniesta before conceding too more. These are crucial factors that go beyond Tito's tactics. If you want to look at numbers then I think 100 points has more value than a 0-7 defeat over two legs.

I highly doubt the team would be even on 2nd spot without Messi, let alone win it.

Barca won 6/6 without Messi. If they didn't have him they still would have likely won the league. Probably pretty easily.

No, it's not just consistency in the league. CL matters a lot also.

Consistency in the league is the primary benchmark. CL matters but due to the high influence of luck it has it's limitations as a benchmark. Unless you want to say that Barca have had only 4 worthwhile seasons in their history?

PSG deserved to go through more than Barca, the same way Barca should've gone through instead of Chelsea
No, in that two legged tie 33 minutes were equal, PSG were in a position to qualify for 20 minutes and Barca were in a position to qualify for 127 minutes. PSG also benefited from an illegal goal as well as a deflected goal. Barca were also comfortable the last 20 minutes of the second leg.

Song is the exact same as Afellay, look for Pep's words about Ibi the January that we signed him. If they tell Tito that hes a good player and can do two jobs, thats their job and he would trust them. Cocu recommended Ibi to Zubi and the same thing happened with Vertonghen by De Boer but they didnt do it this second time

And in the 2 legged tie, 50 minutes were equal, Barca were in a position to qualify for 2 minutes and Chelsea were in a position to qualify for 135+ minutes.

Not saying he's a puppet just that he doesn't seem like the guy that can decide everything he should... there simply seem to be people that are above certain situations and he has to deal with heavy decisions and responsibilities as he took over a team that was/is the best in the world.

In that perspective he did really well considering his health issues.

I mean even if they signed someone he wouldn't have signed it's not like he will be out like 'I didn't want this and that player' he will sound like 'This is an amazing player I wanted him because he fits into my ideas'.

You can see my edit. Barca were superior to Chelsea for pretty much the whole of the two legs. Chelsea also didn't benefit from an illegal goal. PSG only played better than Barca when they were behind and Barca didn't need to score. Maybe 5 minutes after Pastore scored they had the edge too I guess. But overall Barca were the better team.

The difference is I'm looking at the performance while you're looking at the goals. That's OK though, just different views I guess.

there was not enough, or maybe the correct rotations. One blatant is alves playing every game, instead of montoya. And montoya brings a balance in defense alves is not doing these days. I dont need numbers when I saw every single match played this season, bar one.

That's quite delusional. Without that 19 games Messi scored on in a row, Barça wouldn't had won the liga. Not depending on cesc, alexis, villa and pedro to score. Not a chance. Even worse, "pretty easily". And after reading this I don't think there's a reason to discuss anything further. If you really believe that, then you think Tito is a genius of some sort.
