No trophies means it will ultimately mean very little...Pep didn't just set the bar high, he made it insurmountable

fans will still remember it, trophies are yet to come (hopefully, who knows)
of course I love trophies and I am forever grateful to Pep that he made Barca what it is today but really what Tito is doing is like creating machine that just destroys everything with pure class
like Soviet´s Ice Hockey "Red Machine"

Yeah, they look imperious but winning trophies takes an extra gear - we'll see if Tito can lead them to some hardware

Barcastuff :
Vilanova: "The best treatment for me is to be out on the pitch, with a ball at my feet"
Vilanova: "The many messages of support I got helped me, but I want to be talked about because of my job, not my disease"

This man is just

Such dignity! I really like what he says. He is not his disease...

I'm going to stick a leg out and say this Barca is better than Pep's. Of course the big test will be if/when the team wins trophies.

Tito has been just and the team's just been playing superbly. Hopefully it will last.

Amazing.

Let's not forget that Tito started out by failing to win the SuperCup. I'm not knocking it, the team is doing incredibly well ATM, but so far, that's 0 out of 1 trophies.

We outplayed Real Madrid. It was basically game over and won already at camp nou before Valdes did the biggest derp mistake ever and gave them a free goal. Then we lost 1-2 away vs real away with 10 men and if I remember correctly we had at least 2 really good chances to make it 2-2, the ball from Masch to Pedro and some other.

Tito didn't fail winning the Super Cup, if any blame is to be put on anyone it is Valdes or how the whole team played the first 25 minutes at Bernabeu which is probably the worst 25 minutes I've ever seen barcelona play.

:montoya: Martin Montoya one on one chance against Casillas and Messi chance in the last minute set by Song Billong :song: comes to my mind

But if we won, it would be Tito's work, right? I remember both games very well. And how can you say we outplayed Madrid? Yes, we had a few good chances we didn't convert, but also, in the first half of the second game, we could have easily conceded at least 5-6 goals. It was because of pure luck and El Pipita's shooting that we did not. Besides, it doesn't matter why we lost or how we lost. We lost. End of story. That's one trophy that could have been on our shelf, but instead it's in Madrid. Therefore, 0/1. Nothing more to it. And you can count who made how many mistakes, but eventually it comes down to the coach, he is the one with the most authority and responsibility, whether we're talking about winning or losing. It's not all about who's the better team and who has better tactics, we all know luck has a lot to do with it as well, but in 10 years time, nobody will talk about what the game was like, they'll talk about who the trophy went to.

What have you done Tito??

still pissed...

What exactly has he done wrong? Ok the line-up could have been stronger but its the Copa del Rey, it's supposed to be for squad players. Also, it is clear that by looking at those large periods in the first half where Barca dominated, the team that was put out was more than capable of putting that game to bed. Missed chances and complacency on behalf of the players in the 2nd half are what were to blame.
