He should have gone for the win from the beginning. He doesn't really need to rest players for the league so why exactly did he do it?

He does need to rest them for the league, We only finished half of the league now, It way too early to start slacking off, Next game is against Sociedad on their ground, Tough game, And he'll be forced to use his best squad, If he tried to use the same squad against malaga for the second time, It'll mean he would have used them 3 times in a row, Malaga-Malaga-Sociedad, It was the right decision.

I wasn't exactly sure where to post this but I think this is the most suitable thread. A pretty good short analysis of Barca's first half of the season by Sid lowe, Fillipo Ricci and Martin Ainstein

Vilanova: "Liga isn't over at all. Complete second round left, we still have several difficult away games. The players are aware of that."
Vilanova: "It won't be easy. Sociedad always play good against us. We couldn't win the two games we played there since I'm at first team."
Vilanova: "Real Sociedad are conceding few goals, and they have a dangerous counter-attack, with fast players on the wings."

I don't know but I have had experiences with people close by having to get chemotherapy, and that person went to the hospital, stayed a night and could go home. This would go on for weeks, so in periods between therapy sessions he could be home if he wanted to. Guess Tito will be in NY for treatment and if possible be back in Barcelona for some games?

I think it's better is he stays there. Chemotherapy shouldn't be taken lightly and to travel every single time from NY to Barcelona and vice versa could tire him out when he needs his strength the most. It's best that he stays there during the entire therapy.
