I wonder why people give this guy a pass in terms of his coaching, because of his illness right?

Because his Barcelona is NOWHERE NEAR Pep's in terms of pressing, creating chances, defending. Basically everything. Evidenced by playing like shit in basically every big game this season outside 1SC leg against RM.

Yeah, because last season was better when Pep was still here.

We need a real coach, this is Tito's first job as a manager and he is clearly not qualified for the magnitude of the situation.
It's easy to get points against Getafe, Rayo or Levante, you need no coach to achieve that with the quality of the players. BUt so far Tito has lost all games against important teams(except the one against Milan which I consider a collective effort and Messi factor more than anything else). He has failed in all big clashes and our players deserve a coach that can give them an edge in the tactical battle. He has lost all of them

Terrible loss today! Just like the last match at San siro, only worse! Some changes are really needed next season!

People need to shut the f**k up sayin we need a new coach. We won the league and got to the semi finals of the Champions League. Where were you when Barca didn't win a trophy for years during the Gaspart era? Glory hunting fickle excuses of fans.

That being said, I think Tito did really poor tonight. Alexis and Pedro was understandable from the start to track back against their full backs and it worked in the first half. Once we needed a goal though it was clear we needed Villa on the pitch and he didn't make the sub. I don't think any other manager in world football would have kept the same 11 on the pitch for as long as he did in that situation. VERY strange thinking on his part.

Indeed, i see Barca play with no tactic at all. Should have found some way to lock the Robbery wingers, and play more defensively. Messi cound have been sidelined for complete recovery. Zero pressing power, zero goal.

This lost can be put solely on him as I have been since I don't know when, you can play the same system you do against celta vigo against real Madrid, pep knew this Tito doesnt

He makes rijkaard look like a tactical genius

It's alright saying Tito should resign for either his lack of management skills or his health, but who would you have to replace him?

I'll give you a couple of names

Luis Enrique (currently doing a lot of cycling)
De Boer/Bergkamp (tandem currently at Ajax)

That's really a clueless argument and I had no idea insults were allowd in this forum.
This Barca generation has nothing to do with the Gaspart era. So because they were not a top team this generation does not deserve a proper coach? We've been lucky in
liga winning multiple times with last minute goals at the beggining of the competition but when a real team came ahead we had no tactical plan. Tito has been exposed against all big teams and had no response to change the gameplan. We would be out long time ago, if it were not for Messi. He had to bring him injured a couple weeks ago because he could not get a tie against PSG in Camp Nou. That was the only time he produced a game changing decision and it's not really a compliment for him

Their isn't much to replace him with but I am sure who ever gets the job would be better in important games, at least try something if it doesn't work no problem, at least do something

Bayern got all their goals from the wings. Putting on Villa would have given Bayern even more opportunity to score. The mistake was not playing a more physical midfield. Pep started these kinds of games with both Busquets and Keita That kind of tactic(using Busi and Song) would have forced Bayern to work harder to create openings, so either Bayern keep a tighter game(in which case they don't score four goals) or take more risks which in turn would open up more space for Barca's attackers.

I will ignore all things said tonight about the game, the management or end of an era. Saying Tito should be replaced because he brought back the Liga title in great fashion and got us to CdR and CL semis is utter bullshit. Yeah there are things to improve (for instance his subbing policy), but come on people!

We could've reached the semis of both the CL and the CdR without a coach. Tito is naive and he's also obviously blind since he can't see that this team need big changes. Xavi's time is over, Thiago Alcantara is what we need. He should play every remaining match this season.
