I just hope we get Mazraoui and be done with fullbacks. Use Dest as backup for Alba.

The fullback choices are all so incredibly underwhelming... I have seen the least of Mazraoui, which makes him the most enticing one :lol: Gaya and Grimaldo give me nightmares.

I have a feeling they will weasel their way out of it by not playing him enough. Especially if Simeone calls it quits.

Was still worth it to save his salary for two years though. Utterly absurd how much we paid him.

I agree. I like his profile. He is able to tackle, dribble, score some goals and play physical game if needed.

This is what Xavi wants. Versatility. Let's face it, when it comes to midfield our biggest beast is Gavi and he is 17 years old and 170cm. We could use another Bomba like Gavi but bigger version. Frenkie,Pedri, Busi and Nico are softer players.

It seems like Xavi likes a bit different profiles for different games. Tactically Kessie could definitely help us in some games. I like the idea a lot.

Kessie adds almost everything we lack from a midfielder. It would give us more options.

Also, he is a player in perfect age. Prime time.

Sign him up. Much better than Wijnaldum deal we missed thanks to PSG.

I watched his game last night. He was peripheral and more withdrawn than last season. But seems he can play DMC tactically, even in our 1 man system.
