The win % last season was better domesticaly when FDJ started as opposed to Gavi starting.

The gap gets bigger when compare only FDJ or only Gavi starting.

Simples.

Nah chief... Christensen was missing and Alonso CB when Barca beat Real away in cup not long before.

Guess who was MOTM that game... FDJ.

Try again.

FDJ was Barcas best player in the two games beat Real in weeks prior then misses game and Gavi etc is made a fool of as lose in worst way in 15 years.

Barca won every game bar 1 that Gavi didnt start domestically last season before league won... away to Real.

Baca without FDJ starting dropped points to Vallecano, Getafe, Girona and had worst home result in 15 years v Real in cup.

There was not one game Gavi was even MOTM last season.. FDJ was multiiple times.

Simple facts.

No shit because we were gonna continue beating real Madrid with Alonso at CB.

We got a lucky 1-0 win and they adjusted the week after.

But don't worry you'll always have that 1 Copa game and that night in Napoli to prove how World class de jong has been over the last 4 years. Lol

Word salad, we lost 0 games without him.

Hence we would have won the league without him.

I don't believe that, but you have no option but to now constantly repeat that line when out success in the league comes up.

Lost v Real in cup and just you cheer for 0-0 with Getafe, Girona and Vallecano in games he didnt start as 'didnt lose'.

Win % with FDJ better than with Gavi starting.

Simples..

Then when played together FDJ was levels above.

Gavi literally played 4 games domestically last season without Pedri or FDJ starting and won one of them... v Elche.

In the other 3 he was abysmal as Barca drew 0-0 with Getafe, 0-0 with Girona and lost 4-0 at home to Real.

Genuinely that run of 4 games was about some of worst football seen from any Barca midfielder ever... think he made 12 passes or something in one of them.

FDJ was Barcas best player countless times from Real to the rest... Gavi average at best and some absolute howlers of matches..

Too much words, guys. DeJong is undoubtably best players on park in recent year or so. Our other players may have better or worst showing, but he's a constant positive. Pretty much only player with consistent world class form.

Amazing player. So talented and makes the toughest bits look so simple and effortless.


Much much better than PedRi.


FDJ is a proper world class mid.

Truth be told I don't enjoy his playstyle very much anymore. And then on top you have the issue of him playing deep, but having zero robustness in defensive duels.

He's a great player, but I would sell if we get the chance and a good offer.

This is why you don't come with silly narratives like

"He was missing in the biggest lost to Madrid in a decade".

Because time and facts will show them up very quickly

We've lost 1 game without him in the league over the past 2 seasons and about 4/5 in all comps.

And I'm not even having a go at him today because every one was truly shit and xavi set the team up poorly.

But to think de Jong will ever make a difference to our team when we are playing poorly is to ignore 5 years of facts since he's been at the team.

He always always goes down with the ship, he has never once stood up and be counted unless the entire team is playing well.

If a top team come in for him he'll be off this summer. Guy was unfortunate to have United and Barca, 2 of the worst run clubs in football as options.

Like I've said for so long, If we sell him and replace him with someone that cost half as much, he won't be missed.

He may then go on to fulfill his huge potential but thus far for us, it hasn't worked out for him or us.

He plays great when we play great.

Shit when we play shit, doesn't stand up and be counted.

And when we play mid, he does a few nice passes that is fans rave about, that rarely makes a difference in the end result.

Sell in the summer it's better for all involved.

He was better than most of Reals mids and better than Barcas.

Strange game to try and make a point about FDJ.

Far better than Pedri etc and was doing his job more than any of them.

Some shite passes once went to CB though when game a shambles.

If watch that game and the rest of shit and think should sell FDJ...... unreal.
