Yeah been Valverdes best season but he was very poor tonight and looked like he knew it.

They fucked him off to RW as wasnt doing anything in CM.

FDJ was far far better than Valverde and better than Bellingham. Reals midfield did little. Every goals was on the shambles of a defence v their forwards. Every one.

No chance he was better than FDJ..FDJ won ball more and passed ball better.

Valverde barely passed ball forward and was caught on it a number of times.

What I respect about him though is the statement he made a few weeks ago, about not being the player he wants to be.

He knows in himself he's not what he and everyone else thought he would be when he left Ajax.

His fanboys might think he's a rolls Royce player (not a go at whoever said that, just found it funny).

But he knows he's an S class at best and that's when he's giving it his all.

Being able to be self critical is always a great sign.

Barely misplaced a pass until went to CB. Nothing too amazing but was moving it forward and quickly.

Only he and Gundo looked comfortable on it.
