It's not his fault, three years after his signing, and I still don?t know what's his position in the team.

It is his fault for looking languid, disinterested and plain scared. He is currently not up to the task mentally. Those passes were shocking. He is also very passive when he progresses with the ball, choosing the safest and nearest option 19/20 times.

He was your consistent 6.5/10 player in the past. This season he is bellow average.

All this talk about everybody playing him in wrong positions and that stoping him from showing his full potential is bollocks. Yes, a great team and a well suited role would help but he?s having enough freedom in his game to show bits of it. Lately it?s all absent. Don?t know what going on with him.

we all got duped by that ajax cl run. looking back, he didn't show some world class qualities in passing, recycling possession, shooting or any other stuff that would have made him great for barca.

Play him at pivot or 2nd man at 4231 (but that will never happen at Barca) otherwise he needs to just go for a fee to help get us a player that fits the team more.

A CM that offers zero in attack is not going to cut it. Especially if we are already light all along the forward line.

He can perform as a DM though. Pedri, Gavi, FDJ would be nice to see.

His role since 2018 with the Dutch NT team is DM and was/still an influential figure and outperforming the likes of Kante and Kimmich with style and confidence that has been infectious to the rest of the team. He needs to play in that position more regularly. TBF I'm quite disappointed at how Xavi starting his friends in every single game.

At Ajax he used to drop deep to collect the ball off the defenders ( usually de Ligt ) ..so he could fill the Busqs role to some extent but as Xavi prefers Busqs and we have Nico as cover it appears that we will be best served selling FDJ and putting the money / wages into the Haaland and Rudiger transfer fund

They tried him for every possible and imaginable position he can play in !! 4 different coaches !

And stop saying he was our second best player last season, he only was in this forum as d? amigos love to hate Busquets.

He was the most average player that can be, he only needed to not be a calamity to be claimed a huge performance by some cheerleaders in this forum !

At this rate playing one man down is better than playing with him.
