Barca did a complete audit that lasted like almost a year. Perhaps they actually have evidence of some money going "missing". The Athletic mentions ter Stegen, Lenglet, Pique etc. have a similar structure as this Frenkie renewal but they don't have information yet about whether they also received such a letter from the club.
