Valencia game was a cake walk before it even began as many predicted.

Fan boys trying to make out like Valencia was some kinda force and player X starting made the difference.

In reality he was the worse player in Midfield.

Had a good game though and continues to improve, which is needed for the club and team.

FDJ played well and Barca got first win in a while after winning 1 in 8.

He was better than Casado clearly and far far better than Gavi had been in previous 3 domestic games.

Gavi been terrible on the ball in the league and CL.

He is doing next to nothing to progress the ball or open game up and giving the ball away constantly.. one tackle and folk cheer though.

DeJongs mentality will always be his letdown. He is too soft, afraid of the ball and contact. Gavi at least has those figured out.

Nah that is not true. This season he looks wary of ankle a lot but his stats for winning ball back were up there with best in team the last few seasons.

Gavi flying in to anything that moves results in lots of balls won and also dribbled past a lot and leaving pitch open.

It is why no coach so far has really trusted him for any real length of time in a 433 and why him and Pedri in 433 never really works for club or country to date.

Dejongs mentality on the ball and how to use it and understanding of game is levels above Gavi who looks limited and passes it safe and backwards far too often.

I don't really understand why Jamdav has FDJ's pecker so far up his ass. Everyone with a working brain and two eyes can see Valencia was an easy opponent. He simply does very well with a lot of space. He's dogshit at tight spaces and just being a normal DM like Casado. Casado is a much better fit for our system.

FDJ would do really well at Man Utd as a regular CM due to his creativity and ability to keep the ball. He is not a fit, and will never be, at Barca. His work rate is shit, he's not a DM, and he's nowhere near as technically and creatively gifted as Pedri to occupy his spaces. Heck I don't even think he's more creative than Gavi but people can debate he is and I will be ok with that.

Is FDJ a great backup to Casado? Yes. Will FDJ accept being a backup? No. Should leave to Man Utd while they are still desperate and while they still might offer him a high salary.

Haha no.. Valencia were pressing high up and constanlty trying to pressure the midfield and close the space.

FDJ played better than Casado as did when came on v Getafe and Benfica.

FDJ not being more creative than Gavi is about most moronic claim going. Gavi struggles to open up the game big time and stuggles to even more it forward all that much let alone create chances.

The biggest moron in this forum is you for thinking he is the most important midfielder for Barca in the last 5 years. He has proven to be one of the least important players in the team. Pablo Torre has more potential as a Barca player currently than FDJ.
