Has gotze played a complete season for bayern.if you want to compare deals:compare isco' transfer to gotze's.
That's not a valid comparison again. Both Gotze and Isco were impressive last season. Both of them need to adapt to a new style and a new coach. And it will be harder for Gotze that had his injury, it's a different team with different team mates. But there isn't any proof that both of them are not proved as very good players. You can't forget their performances last season just because it's a new team. They have everything they need to be very impressive and key players for their clubs.

I don't think it's true... It would just kill our dressing room

Not really... you are a very giving club in terms of finance for the players... how many times have you renewed Messi in the last 4 years ?
Higuain was begging goals left & right we renewed his deal once in 7 years ... you get the drift

Bury your head in the sand. The whole world knows that Bale was your second choice as you lost Neymar to Barca. Madrid won't be so petty to bid for a player just to put up the price. Now that would be immature.

Oh really ? refer to our twitter conversation about this.. of course we did ... remember the whole Rosell making a bid for one of our players...
Bale deal started back in October.. long before Neymar

Very true

You cannot possibly compare Götze with Podolski though...

Götze was as much a bargain as Bale was overprized. All kinds of things might happen in the future - Götze might fail and turn out to be overrated, Bale might turn out to be completely worth the money. I can't foresee things.
But as I see it right now, in a world where Bale costs 100 million, getting a player like Götze for 37 million is a bargain.

I've known about Isco too. But that doesn't prove whether or not he will be a better #10 for Real than Özil. That remains to be seen. Just as I've known about Mesut before 2010 and even 2009, but how he would be for Real Madrid wasn't visible until he played for them, wasn't it. But if the preseason and a few early Liga games are enough proof for you, there you go. I prefer to wait. I wouldn't say Neymar, who has shown to be brilliant before, has proven himself at Barcelona yet either, or would you?

Has Bale played a complete season for Real then?

Imo Bale hasn't proven himself more than Götze has. Götze is three years younger and has shown to be brilliant in the UCL last season.

Plus, it was only my opinion that Götze > Bale. Buying such a talent for such a price seems like a bargain to me. Don't know what Isco has to do with that.

I'm giving an example of players with high potential and failed in a big club for one or more reason
anyhow Goetze deal is very similar to Isco ... Bale is on a different level

What are you even talking about? I was saying Götze was a bargain, talent-wise, compared with Bale. I said nothing about deals. What does it have to do with him not having played a season for Bayern yet. Has Bale done that for Real?

How is Bale more of a proven player than Götze? Or Isco, if you need to bring him in?

If anything, Götze has proven himself more, internationally, than Bale.

TALENT-WISE, I don't see Bale being better than Götze, which has nothing to do with Bayern or Real.

gotze and isco is the most similar;talent wise, age wise, they play similar position, their transfer fee is close, they are both still remaining in the same league(their home country) where they play last season.

French medias had an headline on Bale today.

They said that the BBC investigated and managed to get their hand on an official document.

Here are the important bits:

- The transfer costs 99M euros
- Bale will earn 13 millions euros net per year

Don't blame the Messenger, i just report what is said here.

13 Million is not net , gross 7 Million is the net
I don't know, i just wrote what was said here and by the BBC according to french medias.

I really don't care if it's 7 or 13 net, because i'm not shocked by big salaries at all.

And as a fan of what Bale's performances are on the field and since I expect him to do good in Madrid, even if not at a ronaldo's level, I would not be shocked at all if it's really 13M net.

Very good players can get big salaries. That doesn't shock me one bit.

That is near 50%, I thought the rule applies after 5 years?

That was the Beckham rule , which was changed.. now clubs pay 52 % of the player salary as taxes (applicable to all new contracts / renewals ) that's why we haven't reached an agreement with Cristiano till now as his 17 Mil means 35 Mil for us

Listened to french sports radio this morning, and they repeated that BBC showed official documents to people (apparently some french medias saw said documents thanks to the BBC) who can confirm it's 99M (£85.4M) and 13M euros net as salary. They also said that the BBC got them from Levy despite a promise he made with Perez to keep them away from everyone.

They added things about Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, who made a deal with Perez to keep the salary secret. They said Barnett had immense pressure about this. Yet the informations leaked.

Whatever RM TV said, that's official news here in France. Even the biggest TV channel (TF1) announced it as fact.

In France at least, Bale is officially the world biggest transfer of all time.

It's obviously 99M. There's only one reason that they don't want it to become public and it listens to the name Tristiano.

French medias also published informations from spanish medias that Tristiano is very sad that Ozil left because it was the perfect 10 for him. The one that knew his placements the best on the field.

They also said that he seems annoyed about Bale.

I want to see both Bale and Ronaldo on the field. IMO it will work out great.

It's not just France, Bale is officially the world's biggest transfer of all time everywhere but in the Real Madrid TV station. The British media obviously got the transfer fee from Spurs themselves, I have no idea why Real Madrid TV are reporting a much lower fee.
