No, he has not. Bale's been at most average. And if you count the clasicos, neymar's advantage is even bigger, as he scored, assisted and suffered a penalty, contributing for Barça's 2 wins vs rm, and bale did nothing in those games. But neymar gets plenty of abuse here.
Both players have been average at best but Neymar has come true for Barca when we really needed a result. You could also add todays opponent ti the list. Sometimes I wonder what some would say if he was an opponent.

He wins in stats, but Neymar wins el clasico, already won a title for Barça with his goal against atletico. Bale also didn't have to adapt to europe, or had any of the off field problems Neymar had. So Neymar wins so far.

That"s two games for this season last season is irrelevant. Lets look at their impact for their respective clubs. You have him instrumental in two games but Neymar has been in five key games for Barca this season. And yes Bale has better stats.
Anyways to each his own I am mighty fine when Neymar laces up those boots for Barca and the skills he possesses helps the team win or draw and even in a loss gives his all.
