As a United fan I'd happily take Bale for 80 mil than spend 50mil on Falcao, we need pace upfront and Bale was absolutely stunning in his last season in the PL, he has a good injury history and is already proven in the league. Plus imagine the marketing opportunities, I'm pretty sure City & Chelsea would also be interested. If we get CL this season I doubt we will spend that big this window plus we will not be as desperate so we cannot be bullied into paying as stupid fees and wages as we did the last window.
