Ibrah is striker, Bale is Winger
Because as Messi knows, scoring as a striker is so much easier. I mean, all the space and time you're allowed in the middle? Wonderful!
Not to mention he drifts inside all the time, I just started watching the video you posted and the second goal was him playing in a striking position,
Ibrah plays in inferior league
Knew you would say that.
BrianSwan, thank you for posting that video.
Here's a run down of Bale's goals:
1. Two headers (pretty good, I must admit)
2. Several-Three maybe? PKs
3. FKs with his left foot
4. Long shots with his left (acres of space)
5. Outrunning defenders/Receiving throughballs + Decent finishing
6. A few scattered volleys/first time shots with his left
Basically, Bale has got pace to outrun most defenders, decent heading ability, and he has practiced so much with his left foot he'll score from anywhere, provided you give him time and space. His right foot is pretty good but nowhere as lethal as his left; if you find a defender who's as fast as Bale and won't give him space, Bale won't score. Simple as that. Is he a good player? Yes. Is he world-class? No. All of what he's able to do is either do to his pace that he's born with or from spending long hours on the training ground. There is nothing in his game a fellow footballer would not be able to mimic given enough time to practice it (save for his pace).
