Ibrah is striker, Bale is Winger

Because as Messi knows, scoring as a striker is so much easier. I mean, all the space and time you're allowed in the middle? Wonderful!

Not to mention he drifts inside all the time, I just started watching the video you posted and the second goal was him playing in a striking position,

Ibrah plays in inferior league

Knew you would say that.

BrianSwan, thank you for posting that video.

Here's a run down of Bale's goals:
1. Two headers (pretty good, I must admit)
2. Several-Three maybe? PKs
3. FKs with his left foot
4. Long shots with his left (acres of space)
5. Outrunning defenders/Receiving throughballs + Decent finishing
6. A few scattered volleys/first time shots with his left

Basically, Bale has got pace to outrun most defenders, decent heading ability, and he has practiced so much with his left foot he'll score from anywhere, provided you give him time and space. His right foot is pretty good but nowhere as lethal as his left; if you find a defender who's as fast as Bale and won't give him space, Bale won't score. Simple as that. Is he a good player? Yes. Is he world-class? No. All of what he's able to do is either do to his pace that he's born with or from spending long hours on the training ground. There is nothing in his game a fellow footballer would not be able to mimic given enough time to practice it (save for his pace).

So lets get this straight Bale is good in the air (heading), good at free kicks, can score from anywhere with his left foot and also has a good right foot to back it up, has the pace to outrun most defenders but he's not world class because if you can find a defender who is as fast as him :)lol:) he will stop him scoring.

Stop trying too hard man

Right...

His game is centered on pace and pace only. If he can't outrun you, you just pressure him so he doesn't shoot, because he's not good enough at dribbling to get around you. And if you're as fast as him, kick and run won't help him either.

You seem to think every player in the world needs to be able to dribble around others to be world class. Ronaldo has his tricks but he's never been one to do that, hell is Xavi world class? his whole game is based on short passes.

What Bale does, he does well enough to be considered 'world class'. Get rid of the hater aid and give me a list of your world class players in football right now.

His Arsenal bias is clouding his judgment tbh.

I do think Bale is on the verge of world class level, if not there already, alas I do believe he needs to leave Spurs so he can develop further playing with better players.

Messi
Ronaldo
Iniesta
Schweinsteiger
Ribery
T. Silva
Ramos
De Gea
Ibra
Lahm

Current form for them ^

Xavi
Pirlo
Casillas
Buffon
Cech

Not currently up to it but in general are world-class^

I don't think a player needs to dribble to be world-class. I think a player needs to be effective at his position independent of who is hindering him. Even if Messi is playing against a defender who can stop his dribbling, he can still contribute with his passing and vision. Bale, on the other hand, can't contribute if you don't give him space because that's what he needs to play. Without it he can't help his team.

Haven't really seen him enough, can't reply. There's a few players I'm forgetting, a few I'm debating about (Mata, Suarez, Falcao) but those are the ones I know I would have on the list.

He ain't world class until he's proven in the Important matches of champions league. The hat trick against inter doesn't count they were already four up

If you think Xavi isn't world class then it proves how little you know

Of course he's world class, I was just making the point that not all players have to dribble around others to be world class

Sorry if it sounds I am against bale. He is a decent guy and I have no problem with him

I just think he's overhyped and we need to see how he performs at a top club in later stages of big tournaments and league campaigns.

At the moment he's a very good player, but not in the world class category

He reminds me more of a younger inform Robben than Ronaldo tbh

He scored 1 of all his goals with his right foot and that 1 goal was a fluke shot
