According to Martinez it is a two-year clause, so only 9M for this summer and 12M in summer 2017.

As a side-note we have prevented ourselves from doing a Morata like RM, buying back + selling for profit is impossible for us. He needs to stay with first team for a year if we get him back or else Everton will get a chunk of the fee if we sell and they don't want him.

We get a chunk of the fee even if he does stay with you for a year as part of your first team.

Memphis Depay is a much better player than Deulofeu with a considerably higher ceiling...

Before those niggling injuries last season , Gerard was getting to be unplayable , he had a spell where he was rampaging down the right wing and was a joy to behold .

I watched damn near every game he played. Of all the youngsters to not make it here, he's my favorite.

But I still recognize he has a long way to go. Memphis is much closer to being ready for serious pressure.

I hope so too. Always loved watching him play, the guy has so much talent. If Koeman doesn't get the best out of him though, we'll probably have to let go.
