I didnt turn on him but he is on mine and should be on everyones shitlist. He wears his emotions on his sleeve its very obvious he doesnt seem to care. Ill continue supporting all players rocking ourstrpes but if anything is pathetic to me its the way he hasnt been keeping his nose clean. Hes gotta show that professionalism.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but teams are not forced to let their players go on international duty, they can refuse and there's nothing national federations or FIFA can do... However, there is a sense of good intention by the club to let its players go to defend their countries if they want... It's kind an unwritten law...

For example, remember when Messi wanted to go to the olympics? Barca had all the right to forbid it, but decided to let Leo go because it was his wish to represent his nation... On the other hand, remember when Xavi (or was it Puyol?) who got mysteriously injured before international break and then played the next Barca game? It was obvious the player and the club made an agreement to "skip" international duty without making neither the player or the club look like assholes...

In other words, doing it outspokenly and against the player's will would be a dick move...

Dick move like being the first club to refuse its facilities for a Copa final kinda dick move? If the players are sick of all this shit like we are, they should mutually agree to decline intl football. The "reason" could be to apply focus towards the recovery of our players for a resurgance towards the La Liga title. Call it a dick move all you want but that would have madrid on their knees guaranteed. They need to back off and no amount of these lame attempts to be diplomatic will work. We need to fight fire with fire. If Spain want a EC they will need Barça and the tables will be balanced if not all the way turned. I dont know what do you guys think?
