Remember when everyone was getting on his back for being inadequate? No coincidence our season has gone to shit (so far) since he got injured...

no it certainly hSas to do with him

By that logic Bartra has been absolutely dogshit as substituting Pique with Bartra has led to a decrease of win percentage from 76 % down to 37.5 % and double the amount of goals conceded per game.

The more logical explanation is that 8 games is an irrelevant sample size to draw statistical comparisons and that Pique got injured exactly when the toughest games arrived (2x Atletico, 1x Real Madrid, Athletic Bilbao etc.) coupled with the injury of Valdes (and also Alba, who is still much better than Adriano) coupled with low morals after the CL loss which all accummulated.

Obviously Pique's absence also played its part as he's still the best defender Barca have but not to that extreme extent as that graphic tries to illustrate.

Here, I can also make up a stupid statistic like that.

La Liga table before Messi came back from injury:

1. Barca: 49 points
2. Atletico Madrid: 49 points
3. Real Madrid: 44 points

La Liga table 8 games after Messi's return to the starting XI:

1. Real Madrid: 67
2. Atletico Madrid: 64
3. Barcelona: 63

Real Madrid making up 9 points on Barca only 8 games after Messi's return.

Conclusion: Messi's fault.

Without our best defender and #1 goalie, of course we're going to concede more. Just happened at the wrong time AGAIN and with no defensive depth the board provided us with.

Word. And this is coming from someone who always supported Piqué.
