If there were doubts... Even Messi and Iniesta are crossing. The excess in crossing is from Tata.

If we lose to Villarreal, we have nothing left to play for except perhaps dignity. I hope he gets sacked, if we lose that is.

edit: Good to see that my comment was a bit premature. I still think he should leave in the summer though.

this man is a genius. all the shit football is just to deflect buses away from him. and just when they feel comfortable in their area, BOOM!, criss-cross football....move along tiki-taka

I doubt he specifically instructs the players to cross. He isn't that stupid. But he certainly instilled a playing style that favours wingplay ahead of short intricate passes through the middle. There are no efforts to combine and play it through the middle whatsoever. The ball goes straight to Alves who then pumps it in.

I wanted him to stay but I don't see where he is going with this. In recent weeks the majority of our goals were own goals, freekicks and penalties. Rarely proper team play. This seems to be the best he can do. I'd probably even take a poor man's Guardiola like Lucho now.

Be careful what you wish for!

Iniesta and Messi started crossing too... that's why I have to assume they're instructed.

I hate this notion that out backline has to be where our midfeild is supposed to be. Then when we get owned on the counterattack cause you see Bartra and Masch vs their entire team and they have to defend the entire half of the pitch by themselves.
