Gerardo "Tata" Martino

Tata is not a big name that can just walk in and demand that things are done his way. Pep had leverage because he was a legend as a player and Laporta was more of a football man diito the board. Tata was unknown in Europe. He walks straight into a HUGE club with huge expectations. Its not as if he was going to rock the boat and take no prisoners. Go try that in your new job ANYWHERE and watch how your ass gets fired ASAP.

This is all just more proof he's out of his depth, and the reasons why he was hired were all the wrong ones. Ideally, this board would leave along with him.

So you think Luis Enrique will come in and magically fix our problems he is struggling with no pressure Celta FFS. Your Tata hate is blinding you

I don't hate Tata. I just think he's not qualified for the job. And no, I don't think Lucho will solve anything. But if he can make the players play as a team again, that would be something. Right now they're just a bunch of individuals trying to make things happen during the matches.
Tata having another season surely isn't the answer either.

But what if he doesn't you are sacking a coach on hope that the other might make the team gel and if that doesn't happen you successfully downgraded on the tactical and coaching department it not enough to develop youth to be a coach at Barca it should be a bonus not a priority

All I know is Tata's been a failure. He started well, but his style clashed with Barça's. After that it went downhill. Barça is now a team without a clear system or identity, relying more than ever in individual brilliance. Things could've been different if Valdes and Pique hadn't got injured, sure. But Tata doesn't seem confortable under the pressure, or that he wants to be there at all. And imo that also shows in the pitch.

I'd still give him one normal season and full authority to do things he sees fit and no his style didn't clash as much as the outburst made it look after the Rayo game. We asked for a plan B Tata tried it against Rayo and it was successful but the world turned on him for conceding possession. I saw a few matches of his stint at both Newells and the Paraguay NT and he instilled both with a mixture of total football along with quick counter attacking so you can say it was a variation of traditional Tiki-Taka tweaked

Does Behrox mean "I don't understand punctuation but I will defend Tata at all costs" in Urdu?

In a nutshell, absolutely...I'd add that he was never a good fit for the club because he was never comfortable with the media or dealing with the pressure of this particular job - not entirely his fault, of course, considering how much nonsense was instigated from the capital to undermine the club...Not many coaches would've been able to handle it, tbf....There were extreme circumstances this season coupled with a very poor board

Look I am not defending him just for the sake of it, I am just saying the guy never really got a real shot or stability to do his job this season and if Luis and the likes are the alternatives I'd rather give him 1 more season instead of jumping ship. Plus about the punctuation you try it after practicing calculus for 4 hrs for a maths exam the next day grammer nazi.

Martino: "What Guardiola has done at Barcelona was probably the best in the history of football, not only in the history of Barça."
Martino: "We all want the same for Puyol, that he can play the last game of the season at the Camp Nou. We'll see if he can get fit."
Martino: "Rumours about possible successors? That doesn't affect me at all."
Martino: "Talked with club about next season? I now focus on the next two games, which will be decisive to see if we still can win the Liga"
