Wijnaldum controls the off the ball tempo well, he slows down hectic situation, and is great in stopping counters - something we struggle against.
Pedri and De Jong are more than enough as controllers.

Depay has playmaking abilities.

Depay+Gini are >>>> signings than both Aguero and Garcia.
I see some prejudice against them because of Koeman-Dutch connection

He controls the tempo with the ball in situations where his team is out of position and vulnerable to a counter, by slowing it down and retaining possession.
He has exceptional off the ball intelligence in always being where it's required either in the defensive transition or in the attacking transition
He does not have incisive passing, dribbling or something like that. That's known. But we are not buying him for such abilities. Pedri/De Jong and Messi can do that.

Well, if he runs and have lungs like de jong, we would defensively be more compact, we have a playmaker in messi.
We need compact defensive and middlefield block, in attack it would be ideal some profilic st, we might get that in aguero for next season, but hopefully we land haaland 2022.

Same old issues if play Messi RW in a 433.

The right back will get doubled up on and targeted all game when Messi doesnt track back.

Impossible to play that way and expect team to play as a unit.

Against most LaLiga teams it's much better with Aguero as a striker.
Difficult games might be 4-3-3 with Messi false 9 or 3-4-3/3-5-2. No aguero in those games

In La liga, it will work to some extent.

In a CL, we will get KOd in a round of 16 by any of: City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern, Real, Atletico, Psg, maybe even Inter.
We might win only against teams like Porto, Schalke, Dortmund, Ajax, Slavia, Shakhtar and similar.
