Go to page 61 and 62 in his thread. There was a report in April where the current board wanted to re-neg the deal previously offered and agreed which the interim board wanted to formalize pending the approval from the candidates in the elections.

Yes... that is exactly what I am referring to in Garcia being offered the reduced deal months ago.

In April board offered lower deal and that is deal Garcia signed.

There is nothing at all surprising in players taking salary into consideration when joining clubs.

Vast majority if not all players would do same in his circumstances and doesnt means he has settled for the money or will try any less for PSG.
