Only acceptable result is winning the league, I care zero about the champions League unless we actually win it.

If he doesn't win the league based on what we've seen so far he deserves another full season, but his first season would have been a failure.

This isn't arsenal, you aren't hired to play pretty football and win zero, you have to do both.

If not both then at least win.

If we crash out of the league then that's a whole other situation, but I doubt that will happen.

Whether it will happen doesnot depend only on him.
The board should take reponsibility
You can't expect miracles with such a bad planning

To understand the difference: there is no possible world where Xavi could be a great manager for us
Bro, Imo, if you see how we’re playing, I have to say why don’t you blame the players for once, they have failed Xavi and Flick, especially Xavi by the numerous chances they missed last season in the big games and the silly errors that caused losses. Flick as well as they failed to provide him a spirited performance against Sociedad, Celta, Las Palmas and Real Betis

When you got 2 managers, and you consistently see the same mistakes, you have to be honest and admit it’s the players mostly not the manager….

It's not the players' fault mainly. It's Bartomeu's. There is a reason the top 6 sides have very large and espensive squads.

The manager simply tries to deal with the challenges as best as he can, no matter who it is.

Ofc, 96% of our problems are due to this cancer. But you have to admit the players have lacked commitment in games that were crucial in winning big games

Because they have very little experience at the top. Don't listen to the fan base. Araujo fecked up the PSG match because that level was new for him and he choked.

Biggest limitation is short squad and lack of top signings both in first 11 and for depth.

That's most teams though. There is no perfect team trough signings, and especially if they are of the quality of Barcelona. Some Antony tier player won't give you depth, only empty the pockets.

Fair enough, it is true that the squad has had little to no experience, but at the end of the day, it is collectively everyone’s fault in the club that we are underperforming when it truly matters. What they need to do is continue their discipline and learn from their mistakes, and for Flick, to adapt to matches with hard circumstances. And ofc for us as a fanbase, to trust Flick and eventually success will arrive.

I don't see it like that personally. The club sets the objectives, and has to provide the financial backing so that the staff, led by the manager and the sporting director, can hope to reach those objectives in a sustainable way.

What the board did was invest very little to challenge Madrid, not to mention the other teams in CL. For financial reasons of course.

And despite these shortcomings, we still won a Championship and were very close to top 4 in CL last season. I'd say the management of this club has been more than adequate. Management and La Masia delivered in these years to deal with the financial mess Bartomeu left behind.

If you want somebody to blame, that is Bartomeu. His presidency made the club unable to compete financially at the level required to become one of the best at a faster pace.

Our response to deal with the lack of proper funds was La Masia talents + huge pressure on the managers. Barca always was about pressure to win titles but in the past you had some of the world's best players wearing the shirt. Multiple of those. So the pressure and the expectations were fair and understandable. Now they are not so justified.

This Dortmund match is going to be very interesting. Let's see how the team performs.
Look with Flick...right from day one we've seen he has a very clear idea on how he wants to play. Whether the players can actually be assed to do the hard work is another issue.
With Xavi I saw no structure, no clear idea on how to play and we were extremely lucky to win that league title. Alot of times after getting a 1 nil lead we had to hold on for dear life and were lucky not to concede. Ter Stegen also had a good year in la liga which helped immensely .
There are so many factors responsible for this club's inconsistency you could write an essay on it.
If Flick fails Laporta will go straight back to la liga or Masia DNA. That would be a tragedy. It's this nostalgia that prevents us from moving forward.
I'm also sick of the hype machine cranking up any time a kid comes up through the ranks.

There needs to be much less hype over every young kid that plays a few games. Pedri, gavi fati were are never Barca material and yet they were hyped to the moon for some little flashes of brilliance. None of them have ever had even 3 good consecutive games after all these years. Only yamal is the real Barca quality and maybe cubarsi eventually. The rest need to be gotten rid of

Man, erase Pedri from these posts of yours.
It's a hubris to think that Pedri is not Barca material.
By far the best player of this team

Even when Xavi had everyone available and was winning titles in 22/23, we were awful and deserved jack-shit

That's where the discussion about the players failing Xavi ends
