Im reminded of the Ronald Koeman games where we had tons of chances but couldn't score.

Yesterday was ridiculous considering Lewandowski himself had three one on ones.

Our xG was 2.42 and we scored zero goals.

By comparison Real Madrid had an xG of O.69 and scored 3 goals.

You just can't have weekends like this when your biggest rival can shithouse a point out of their bludgeoned anus.

Need to give Flick some time to adjust to the league. But don't bet on Madrid wasting as many points next season...

His best chance to win the league is now, this season.

Nothing is lost btw. Top 3 teams are inside 3 points despite all the fuck-ups. That's encouraging. But we need to keep way more clean sheets. We had very very few of those.

Clean sheets are vital to take some of the pressure from our offense. Opponents also defend with more ambition and sacrifice if you gift them a lead to sit behind and camp up in their own 20 meters. This fills them with hope and things can get very complicated when you try to unlock a side that is inspired by the possibility of a huge upset.

I don't know if people expected to blast every side 5-1 or so... but it doesn't seem to work in La Liga for more than some games here and there. Even in our best years, in roughly 20-30% of the matches we had to grind out results.

2 good months in 21/22 season (Feb - March '22) was all good football Xavi ever managed

That's when we had good wins against Atleti (4-2) and Madrid (4-0).

All the rest you mention was all dull or lucky 1-0s

The PSG game was an outlier, we were better, the football was not something great THO
No, Xaviball thrived in the beginning of 2022-23, when after opening game we won 4-1, 4-0, 3-0, 5-1, 4-0. We should’ve won against Bayern in Munich but just like yesterday we didn’t finish our chances.

Yes 1 more month with TONS MORE good ball
Get a grip

BTW Xavi did not register any big European win even in his BEST days.
Only the PSG game, which he annuled in the return leg

On the other hand, he gave us TONS of humiliating moments: against Bayern many times, Inter, UTD, etc.
Bro most of the time, we lost with small margins and the games were always the result of us missing chances or getting robbed. The only game where we were truly humiliated was the 3-0s in 21-22 and 22-23

Xavi was the right manager... he was just too honest for most fans and Laporta.

We would have easily won La Liga this year with him. Zero doubt about that. 2 out of 3 Ligas would have been a brilliant return. Also wanted to get rid of Lewy, bonus points for that.

I'm not so sure he had the will to reset and attempt another underdog title win. He seemed in meltdown mode last season.

It's possible though that we would've been better in the league considering Madrid's poor results.

But what's done is done and we need to support the current manager. We are still in it, nothing is lost. Every team is losing points.

Man, all I have to say it will take time for people in this forum, to find out it’s the players who are the problem not Flick or Xavi. All of these great wins we won under these managers and we still look like we haven’t truly took a step forward, and even if we did look like we did, the players still find a way to disappoint all of us

No need for an underdog title considering both Madrid's dog shit form. Xavi with an inform Yamal and Raphina at the start would have played very good football as well (like that bum Spain coach). And no way we would have won 1 in 6 ffs.

But yep, what's done is done. Nothing lost yet.

(The 2nd place in CL group stages kind of makes me mad though )
