200m on a completely shit team. Flick got 50m Olmo as well with a vastly superior squad (not much, but still). Xavi didn't want Roque, but the deal was done. He only changed the timing, because why the fuck not. That was a politic move by the club if I have ever seen one.

Xavi wanted Roque signing in summer 2023 and he approved the deal, he didn't want him in winter as he wanted a CDM which wasn't possible.

🤣 he saw Roques level and pretty much binned him asap.
The fact is Brazil dont produce the same magical players they used to.
Vinicius, Endrick and Rodrigo wouldn't come close to the Brazil squads of 98 to 2006.

Yeah, thats the issue. he plays the 'charming boy from Germany' role instead of giving arguments in the pk's. If you listen to him you closely you see he has absolutely no clue what to do. Phrases like we have to do better, we have to learn. Blablabla... Like in all the pressers he had after Germanys NT losses. I am from Germany, I listened to all of them. His luck is he isnt Spanish, people forgive him. In CL his high line will be our death in crucial knock out Matches, in La Liga he lacks the ability to motivate the team and find tactical solutions. He for sure is a very nice guy, everybodys likes him. But he is a lousy manager.
We know all this stuff

Somebody said they wanted Titanium Thomas as the manager here. He would flip out and self destruction with this squad. I can understand a team being consistently good or bad but this team is neither. Most unpredictable Barca team I've ever seen.

For us that was a massive investment. Xavi signed an aging striker in Lewa when we could have stuck with Auba who loved the club and was doing a great job.
Xavi did f all in Europe. Two consecutive group stage fails and piss poor El campaigns. Had the nerve to say we're too big for the EL. The man was a clown. I'm not going to absolve the players cause they played their part in his sacking too. However, there's a reason he's unemployed. No big club will take a risk on him. They aren't convinced by him.
You can’t blame 2021-22 on him, in the 4 games he managed he only lost 1. 2 W 1 D 1 L. Only if Demir scored that chance we would have qualified. Also even if we did qualify we were not gonna do anything of note

Actually nvm, he had 2 games to manage. How do you have the audacity to blame that elimination on him. Like how is it his fault if Demir hit the bar in the Benfica game. At the end of the day, it wouldn’t come out to anything. We weren’t gonna do anything special

I like Tuchel alot but he seems a better fit for Madrid. Also people talk about Flicks poor stint with the German team but Tuchels stock has fallen considerably after his Bayern role.
PSG to Chelsea to Bayern to England isn’t falling stocks like bro

Titanium Thomas is always in demand and lights fire up players asses
